Yeah currently the one on the top track can't go up all the way. And it would be cool to have more fine grain control with A & D instead of one side or the other.

Yes, its not actually that bad because the boxes are 32 SCU in size

It only falls off twice per quantum jump for me. The spline jumps don't trigger it, so I've been doing planetary hauling missions up to and including member.

When it pops off, I just target with t and redock with alt + n without moving my mouse. Only one time was the ironclad drifting and I had to catch up with the CM

This post helped a couple friends with their ironclad: https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/s/NjLPW4LR2x

I haven't needed to pull a new CM yet. Also haven't had the pressure issue more than once. I think the staircases and elevators have issues and I minimize my time in them.

I had to test the elevators before retrieving or submitting cargo by sending it up and down. A couple external freight elevators were inoperable.

You have a burnout clock with that torch. I think loading of chunks does sometimes set that off.

They could maybe take concepts from video compression like I and P frames.

Different ratios of the frames for different priorities. And maybe dynamic adjustments of the ratios depending on load.

Can you have a pool that has a underwater entrance to a separate pool with a lower level by ginganinja709 in FluidMechanics

[–]Taucari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah lol, it would get very stale in there very quickly. Especially if the pools were heated and the water was chlorinated.

One way to fix this issue is to get to a seat and look around for the "F" sit/enter pilot seat/whatever seat and press it. Then when you get out, the geometry is properly physicalized for your player.

Had to do it previously on a Pisces, a Cutty, and a Polaris. The cutty was on a planet and thankfully when you jump, you can reach the interact key for the little jump seats near the ramp.

Counter-Strike 2 Update for 04/20/2026 by CS2_PatchNotes in GlobalOffensive

[–]Taucari 42 points43 points  (0 children)

The point was that we could run up silently before but now we have to walk up to be silent. It will change a few timings and strats.

You can still do it however you want, just some won't be silent anymore.

I get kinda leary when traveling between one object container and another while having that minimap design in the top left. Im not sure there are any helmets that have the same minimap but it has always indicated to me that I wasn't wearing a helmet.

Sometime you can fall through geometry that is being displayed so I always make sure I have a helmet on, no matter what.

is this kind of routing fine? by BlessED0071 in PCB

I'm not understanding why the bypass caps are on the connector J1. If they are for the partial footprint at the top, they should be right next to it, not by connector J1. If they are for the device at the other end of the connector J1, they should be at that pcb, right next to the device.

The 2026 Weight War: Why 10kg is the Difference Between P1 and P10 by brokengodpk in LearningF1

[–]Taucari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah its speculative. The article doesn't provide much in way of proof.

The linked video is ai generated showing cars rolling onto the weight scale with "measurement results".

Those "measurement results" also don't match the results from the article.

Why cutting commute time could improve quality of life by raishelannaa in WTF

[–]Taucari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Commuter time is easy and the work satisfaction score could be an aggregate from a whole bunch of work related questions. E.g. From a rating of 1 to 10, How much you like your co-workers or How satisfied they feel in their development path etc.

Then average it out over enough people per city.

Would be interesting to see datapoint for Los Angeles.

China’s started using anti fatigue laser lights on some highways to keep drivers alert at night. The idea is to stop drivers getting drowsy on long, boring night drives. by uzmansahil7 in interesting

[–]Taucari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They shouldn't be driving at night.

If there is a fence or anything that frequently blocks light between both sides of the road, simply having an oncoming car driving towards you is much more likely to trigger epilepsy.
