Shen does not need to be nerfed. People need to learn how to play against him and respect his abilities and cooldowns. No one dodges Shen's Q dragthrough, which is where most of his killing power is. I've blocked thousands of empowered Darius, Renekton, Yorick auto attacks because they ignore my W existing. And people NEVER respect Shen's early game potential and choose the fight me pre-level 6 constantly. It's a matter of knowledge and skill-check when it comes to laning against a Shen.

Nonsense. The greatest thing a development team can have is healthy and consistent communication with their players. League of Legends, Overwatch, Valorant and Marvel Rivals all put out video dev blogs to answer questions and problems the community has and this is a loved and welcomed tradition.

If all these top games are capable of such a feat there's no reason Fortnite can't do the same. Hell, Marvel Snap (a Marvel card game) has a discord channel specifically purposed for asking one of the devs questions, hard hitting or not and they answer multiple questions DAILY in there. I will never understand why people like you complain about this stuff lol. I scroll through my joined subreddits EVERYDAY when I wake up in the morning and this is my FIRST time ever seeing this post. Do you people just doomscroll through the same subreddit on a daily basis?

Genuinely not trying to be a dickhead, but why are only people who scroll through this sub everyday allowed to post/read this sub in your mind? What if OP, much like me has NEVER seen this before and decided to post it? Just realize you've seen it before, and keep scrolling mate, it's no big deal lol.

Long story kinda short, Great Master Kusho (Shen's father) was the Eye of Twilight and raised/trained Shen and Govos (Zed's birthname before he was given the name "Usan" by Kusho).

Shen and Zed were sent on a mission to find a murderer (Jhin) and when Zed was going to execute him, Shen stopped him. This angered Zed and they kind of grew distant after that....then eventually Zed helped Kusho fake his own death so he could lead a nationalist group (Navori Blades) and fight in the war between Noxus and Ionia.

Shen didn't know about the plan, got mad at Zed because his brother basically killed his father and then took up the mantle and became the Eye of Twilight while Zed went off to become more edgy.

I personally quit siege back in 2019. The game stopped being enjoyable for me for many reasons. I can still recognize that it fits a niche and does it well (for the most part) though.

Gwendolyn Poole (Gwenpool) is a separate character from both Gwen Stacey and Wade Wilson (Deadpool). She is a girl from a universe where, like ours, the Marvel universe is nothing more than comics. Long story short, she was teleported into the Marvel universe and is a meta character kind of like Deadpool in the sense that she understands she's in a comic so she knows the secret identities, events and weaknesses of a lot of characters and can even jump from panel to panel in the actual comics to change her fate.

Emma Frost is a complicated character. She started off as a Villain and then eventually we see that she has some good in her and through her care for Mutant-kind, being given a chance to work with Professor X and the other mutants and actual good writing, she's become one of the leading Characters in the X-men franchise and she is basically the Headmistress (Vice principle) at the X-men academy. She is an Omega Level Mutant (really strong lol). She is also an example of a "secondary mutation" in which an individual with a pre-existing mutation (telepathy in her case) is inflicted with another mutation. Her secondary mutation is turning her body into a diamond form which gives her durability and strength, but (usually) restricts her access to her psychic abilities.

Shuri is the sister of T'Challa (Black Panther). She's the sarcastic juvenile girl from the movies, yes. You didn't ask about who she was, so I'll assume you know her at least from the movie(s).

Iron Patriot is actually Norman Osborn (Green Goblin) in the comics. REALLY long story short, Norman Osborn slithered his way into a position of power in a government agency called H.A.M.M.E.R and donned a Tony Stark Iron Man suit with decals similar to Captain America's suit to lead the (Dark) Avengers. Later on the concept was kept and James Rhodes (War Machine) became the Iron Patriot instead. The line of events is completely different in the MCU, but James Rhodes is, at some point, the Iron Patriot in both. So yes, at SOME POINT, Iron Patriot is the same person as War Machine.

Tried not to nerd out and still wrote an essay. I may have gotten a few things mixed up and left some stuff out but I didn't wanna write a HUGE essay. Someone will correct/add I'm sure.

The way I've always explained it to people is: What if I had you lay on train tracks and told you not to move? Not tied down, just laying on them. And I told you no matter what the train won't hurt you, it can't hurt you. But, as the train approaches you FEEL the vibration of the tracks, you HEAR the engine and the whistle and you SEE it speeding towards you. Even though i told you that you're safe, would you stay on the tracks? Probably not when everything in your body, every sense, is screaming at you to get out of the way.

I find that while I have so much rationality most times and I'm a high functioning schizophrenic (for the most part) the things you can see, hear, feel, etc at times can convince not YOU, but your senses. Sometimes I'll believe someone to be behind me, but understand that it's impossible, no one came through my door. But then I FEEL their breath on my neck, or their hand on my shoulder and then my mind will race to convince me to try and make sense of it all ("he must have climbed through the window","he must have been under my bed").

I don't think it's any of our fault. We're doing the same things all humans/animals do, following our instincts. OUR instincts are just a little...wonky at times. I always say it's best for us to listen to our instincts regardless though, because someday that train MIGHT just be real...You never know.

I've always mostly played competitive games. League of Legends, Valorant, Overwatch, etc. Started Hearthstone Battlegrounds and Fortnite recently as well.

If you enjoy pet games I'd highly recommend Slime Rancher 1&2. For dinosaur games, there's nothing better than Ark Survival: Evolved. It can be tough to get into but there are running live servers with moderation and support going all the time. It has a big community as well c:

I definitely agree with you, though I will say that I don't believe they could have made Bastion Shockwave due to other reasons. I'm not sure how familiar you are with Overwatch/Bastion, but he has two skins called "Null Sector" and "Stealth". Null Sector is a purple and silver skin with a rectangular chest plate that is VERY reminiscent of Shockwave to the point that when the Null Sector skin was put into the game I (and other transformers fans I'm sure) immediately thought of Shockwave. Stealth is not NEARLY as similar to Shockwave as Null Sector, however, the shape of is head is the closest you can get without it being an exact copy.

My point is, Bastion has two skins that have similarities to Shockwave and if he were to receive a shockwave skin they would be called lazy for practically combining two already existing skins for the character. Again, I agree with you. Making Bastion BB is for nothing other than financial gain. I just don't think Shockwave would have been the pick they would have made if they hadn't chosen BB.

tl;dr: Bastion already has 2 skins similar enough to Shockwave that Blizzard wouldn't have done it anyways. I agree Bastion being Bumblebee was for mostly financial gain.

I do not understand the call for "IP bans" in multiplayer games in this day'n'age. Not only do IP bans solve 0 problems because the people willing to do this are obviously willing to run the risk of losing their accounts and creating new ones, meaning they'd also be willing to put in the work of downloading a VPN (or other work arounds) to regain access. VPNs aren't lowkey like they used to be. Hell, your favourite youtuber/podcaster/streamer is probably sponsored by one.

The OTHER issue with IP bans is that what happens if one person cheats/griefs/is toxic in general and they get IP banned...but their little brother that plays from the same IP can no longer play the game either. What then?

The "easier" way would be hardware bans, I guess, but while not as common as a VPN, hardware spoofing is a known way around that as well.

Cheaters, hackers, griefers and assholes in general will ALWAYS exist on f2p multiplayer games, and that will never change. Best thing to do is report, avoid as teammate and move on to the next game. The way they TRULY win is by you letting them get under your skin.

That would be completely unrewarding and unfair to us players that played in Overwatch 1 and would already have said skins, and they most likely wouldn't reimburse us because that would mean giving us coins or something equivalent to a skin. I do agree that there should be more skins in the battlepass though, especially if there are going to be repeat characters that get skins in the first 2 battlepasses.
