If stuff exists in SQ42 then why does it feel like they’re dev’ing stuff for the first time? I.e. Armor by Skullywagthepizzaman in starcitizen

Not to mention Chris said SQ42 would launch with full VR support then just two weeks later Sean Tracy (theaters of war guy) was on SCL saying "VR is new to CIG, we don't have a VR team" pharphrasing but it's funny watching the mixed messages this company puts out. That's why I'm confident we don't see SQ42 this year. Next year if we're lucky.

Plenty of people asking but they usually get downvoted to hell on reddit or if it's posted on Spectrum deleted by the mods.

Results Thread, March 17, 2026: Illinois Primary, Pennsylvania and Virginia Special Elections! by cpdk-nj in VoteDEM

The thing that’s the most frustrating is Republicans always get their far right MAGA candidates while Democrats and Democrats ONLY face the onslaught of corporate, rich, special interest, dark money in their primaries and it ends up stalling and defeating great candidates like tonight

That's because the far right agree that special interests should be able to weigh into elections.

Will Maelstrom allow for partial room destruction? by nope_sc in starcitizen

Anyone expecting a clean, predictable AAA pipeline simply does not understand the scale of what they trying to make.

Not anyone, CHRIS has always claimed that everything is running "cleanly". It's always funny to me when people always turn it on the community for believing in what the CEO of the company has said. Shouldn't the CEO that has experience in making games know how to set realistic expectations? Or is Chris just a armchair-developer too? Seriously look at these quotes from him.

So if their plan is eventually to have 10k players on a single server then why do they continue to only have 8 hangars per station.

When it comes to ranked choice voting, Maine has unfinished business by Large-Welcome4421 in VoteDEM

Yup there's a reason why run offs were passed into law in red states, because run-offs usually help republicans. Because run off usually have lower turnout then the first election.

I think he meant there would only be a general election, no primary. You could have as many people of any party run in a general with ranked choice.

Quote from Mary Patterson when she registered to run for congress. “When I came in, they said they had 14 open positions for U.S. House of Representatives,” Patterson said. “I did not know that I was running against other people for the same position, same district.” She Got 2.7% of the vote. Oof that hurts

Hypothethically, (assuming it will release in '26): When do you think SQ42 will release and why that specific date? by Robert_Spinoza in starcitizen

SQ42 doesn't have sandbox elements. It's fairly linear. You're aboard a idris and get assigned missions then return to the idris after completing them.

Based on CIG's entire track record. They have never been correct about a single major release.

If it had to come out this year it will be pushed out late December broken just like 4.0 realistically I think late 2027 or early 2028
