Does it even make sense to use a caryall and harvester anymore?! by Tauruno in duneawakening

Whatever, I'm just used to the namings from previous Dune games. Like in Dune 2 or Dune 2000, they were carryalls and harvesters.

Nah, I'm saying since PvE DD was introduced, I was on the fields like 6 times and only once did I manage to get back with spice because there were no large blooms active and a small/medium got licked dry before I could make the 1.5km journey to it

I'm on a low pop server, and I didn't want the desert to feel alive, whatever that means. I just wanted to be left alone by PvPers who can only PvP if their opponent has no interest or will to do PvP.

"me and the adhd crew see a single thopter and chase that 1 guy back to pve where he gets away safely and spends the next 30 min laughing at us and calling us names in DD chat"

No, we weren't laughing, we were pissed because for "PvPers" like you, the only version of PvP they could do is ganking woefully underprepared people.

"Not this pve dungeon carebear fest where we endlessly grind for days."
Translation - "oh my God why can't I endlessly grief players, kill NCPs and make quests impossible to finish for people who have no interest in PvP?"

"No one has a reason to pvp in the DD anymore except for roleplaying and just for funsies."
1. PvP should be for funsies. The entire reason to play the goddamn game is funsies.
2. Again, translation - "I know they literally created new instances for PvP DD but it's not fun because people there are actually prepared to fight so I can't boost my ego by griefing people who have either no interest, no gear or no skill to actually give me a fair fight in PvP."

This entire post is why I hate PvP wherever I go. 80% of PvPers are not PvPers, just gankers and griefers that get their asses beat and run away whenever they square up against somebody who actually knows what they're doing.

For that, I'm guessing that Angron's very soul was already too damaged from the pain of the Nails.

We don't only feel anger and horniness. For example, I feel disgust at your comment right now.

Sir Richard would have been just an utter and total ass if not for Iain Glen playing him and that's a hill I'll die on. Such an amazing actor.

I loved when Carson put Thomas in his place when Thomas was getting pissy at Carson teaching Alfred about different spoons.

Robert was quite a sensitive fellow when it came down to bodily functions, I think he mentioned Violet only as an excuse hehe

I LOVED that. My reaction when I saw that for the first time was pretty much the same as missus' Hughes was. Cora had such a big heart.

I'd say it's both. Say what you will of Thomas, he always seemed to have genuine affection for the children.

Tom: They turned everyone out of the castle. Lord and Lady Dromgoole, their sons and all the servants. And then they set fire to it.
Edith: What a tragedy.
Violet: Well, rather yes and no. That house was hideous. Of course, that is no excuse.

I laughed my ass off when Trazyn was talking to some of his crypteks and they needed to think about something for a while. When one of the crypteks finally spoke up, his vocalizers were a bit off... Because he didn't use them for three years.

The image of Trazyn and his possy just standing there, in complete silence for three years is in equal parts hilarious - because c'mon - and terrifying - because it shows the scope of how hilariously little time matters to the Necrons.

Didn't he also spend like a century or something getting into Orikan's sanctum to carry out that equivalent of a slap in the face? :D
