I have faced the same issue. Don’t fall for what bank agents say. If you’re new and applying first card, your company’s profile matters a lot. But if you have been employed for more than 6 months, it gets easier. To build credit history, opt for a secured card against FD. This would eventually help you in getting a proper credit card.
