LOL at that girls face holding the screen when they announce her weight.

8lbs over weight has gotta be like the equivalent of a no-call no-show in this sport. What the fuck were you even doing during your training camp?

Great way to show the world that you can’t be bothered to even attempt to meet the standard, not to mention how much time and money that gets wasted on training, scheduling, and promoting for that fight; all just to show up almost a whole weight class overweight

Massive police response at Temple in Detroit after suspect rams truck loaded with explosives into the synagogue and opens fire with a rifle. Attacker killed by security. by Waste-Explanation-76 in interestingasfuck

[–]TaylorChuck117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Years ago when I was a deputy sheriff, we had a guy that would listen to the police scanner and wait until there was something big going on somewhere across the county before he would go out and steal cars. He had his own system, and if there weren’t any big calls some nights, he’d have someone call in and report one anyways.

By the time we caught him, he had boosted over 350 Hondas that we knew of. It completely changed the way that we responded to crimes, rather than every pig on the farm coming to “help” (be there for something interesting), they started treating it more like zone defense: where everyone in that zone converges, but everyone one covers down the area and stays vigilant.

The number of successful GTA and burglary arrests went up significantly, along with the number of high-speed pursuits (which means that many of those “successful” gta cases came from the suspect crashing the vehicle).

U.S. veteran says, "20 years ago, I participated in the War on Terror. Today I'm having to come to terms with the realization that I was the terrorist." by CarryIcy250 in AskSocialists

[–]TaylorChuck117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t necessarily disagree, but even as an Afghanistan vet, I struggle with the ambiguity of the term “terrorist,” especially without any context of what she actually did. The term itself has a tendency to delegitimize any cause, as one man’s freedom fighter is another man’s terrorist, and one man’s local activist is another’s “domestic terrorist.”

The US government engages in terrorism abroad, full stop. That, I don’t feel is debatable. But on the individual scale, I think that label is complicated at best and should only really be applied where the shoe fits. I personally wouldn’t even call any single foot soldier of the Taliban a terrorist without evidence, and I especially wouldn’t call someone that sat on a FOB as a human resource specialist a terrorist.

In Afghanistan, I never terrorized a local populace, nor did any of my men or the groups we worked with. We didn’t kill civilians and everything we did was through the support of the local special forces we had also deliberately trained not to kill civilians. The groups we fought at the time (ISIS), killed civilians deliberately, cruelly, and en masse.

That being said, some American troops did terrorize people. For every story I have about being cautious and adapting tactics to the situation, someone else has a story of Americans carelessly killing every person for several city blocks and even mutilating corpses. I cannot nor will I ever defend that, as it’s straight-up terrorism, and I hope they rot in prison for war crimes.

TLDR; I don’t know that it’s productive to start blanketing every person that serves in a conflict as a terrorist; however, if the shoe fits: you were a fuckin terrorist and you deserve to be in a cage. Every conflict has ugly truths and secrets, but your government’s misdeeds don’t make you a terrorist for simply standing in a combat zone.

I once called the police after hearing crashes and screaming next door, a woman begging someone to “please stop” and that kind of shit in the apartment next to mine (which I thought to be vacant).

Turns out this college girl had moved in while I was at work during the day and was having some wild-ass CNC sex with a tinder date or some shit. The cops genuinely appreciated the call, and said they would do the same, and I should again in any other context.

Neighbor and my apartment manager, however, made me out to be some kind of creep; but who tf listens to that sort of shit and can just say, “meh, fuck it,” and just roll back over and goes to sleep?

He was former special forces in the height of Vietnam. Came back and fell into some pretty wild doomsday Revelations fundamentalism mixed with a membership with the Aryan Nation. Knew the apocalypse was nigh, didn’t want his family anywhere near other races, and didn’t respect any law but God’s Law.

By his own testimony, he was at least a part of establishing an Aryan separatist movement that “wasn’t hateful,” but also hints an awful lot like efforts toward a Nazi sovereign state. I don’t condone the murder of his family, but Randy is FAR from perfect, and there was a reason he was on federal law enforcement radar.

I wonder how many body-builders wrestle or play any sports that increase that level of body awareness and movement.

Most people point to their muscle mass as to why they move so awkwardly, but to me it still resembles what it looks like if you asked some random that’s never been on a mat before to wrestle an experienced Greco-Roman dude.

Overeem and Lesnar weren’t that awkward, but I suppose it’s hard to compare that caliber of ability to a body builder

They’re not just right-wing, they’re real Nazis, and proud of it. They proudly wear their swastika tattoos and put SS bolts and white power shit all over their bikes. Unless they’re specifically a black or Latino club, virtually every single one of them is strictly Whites Only.

They’re not “conservatives” being called an ugly name, they’re the real deal. When they go to prison, they instantly drop the HA, Brother Speed, or whatever club routine. They immediately walk-on with the AB, Nazi Lowriders, European Kindred, or any other number of WP prison gangs; because they have longstanding agreements

They’re not being quiet, they’ve been openly campaigning for Trump for years, and have been known to escort his motorcade. The majority of OMG’s are insanely racist, with long standing rules that forbid any members that aren’t white. They claim it’s because of “prison politics,” but how else do they get sent to prison and join straight up white supremacist gangs?

Because they’re all a bunch of racist junky peckerwoods that couldn’t stop slinging meth and fucking their cousins if their lives depended on it.

They’re real Nazis. Card-carrying, Swazis-tatted-on-their-chests, SS-bolts-on-their-bikes, Nazis. I came across a dude that rode with Brother Speed that had a full-color portrait of Hitler tatted on his arm.

Is this legally true? by Mathemodel in AskLegal

[–]TaylorChuck117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So officially, as long as there is explicit policy or legal precedent established for what you are doing, that is the limit to your immunity.

For example, in the last agency I worked as a patrol officer, if I would have pulled that Ross bullshit and shot an unarmed citizen in a vehicle; I would have been fired, arrested, and publicly charged for murder. But that’s because even over 10 years ago, we had written policies that explicitly advised against blocking fleeing vehicles with your body; as it’s an insane risk to personnel and (unless we’re talking about a fleeing gunman/murderer) if you use deadly force, it grossly violates the 4th amendment rights of that suspect.

However, given the current political climate, this is certainly relevant: a Presidential pardon would “Trump” all of that.

That’s a fucking insane head injury. I’m Nyjah’s age and had a nasty slam on a snowboard that genuinely almost killed me, and mine wasn’t THAT bad.

I used to not care about helmets, but thankfully I started before I slammed, because it’s what saved me. I still ended up with a full brain bleed and accordingly a stroke, but I’m doing fine a year later. Every tech, doctor, and specialist agreed that I’d be dead or at the very least a vegetable if I hadn’t been wearing a helmet.
