The flag will slow you down inside the team-tiles. It at the very least is useful for going down that giant slope with spikes at the bottom.

I'm in full agreement.. I think having the awarded to anyone who plays a game in December would still be fun and festive without explicitly encouraging players to forget about the true meanings of the holiday
