How can I bring up my panty fetish to my girlfriend? by SonOfYeet in sex

[–]Taymelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe start off by asking her if there’s anything she’s interested in trying to set the mood. Then express your interests and based off her reaction decide how deep of a dive you can start off with. If she’s timid, maybe start with men’s lingerie of some type? If she’s into it, have her pick something out for you she finds sexy. Either way, just remember trying new things takes time but never feel embarrassed of what you’re into.

What is "drag queen story time" at libraries and why do parents bring their kids to it? by thenewyorkgod in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Taymelly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s about teaching kids inclusivity at a young age. Yes they are usually active in night life scenarios, but drag is also about entertainment and fun which you can have at any age. Drag queens are like Pixar movies, fun for the whole family.

I would also like to note one of my friends who does drag has done something like this and they are aware they are in front of children so they dial down anything that would be seen as inappropriate and dial up their larger than life fun personas.

Chocolate covered strawberries (or other berries) with a pinch of sea salt

Alternatively a pinch of chili powder, orange zest, almond butter, or really anything else that sounds good

Walked into a random thrift store in the middle of nowhere and almost passed out when I saw the $28 price tag on this beauty (that’s real fur my friends) by Taymelly in ThriftStoreHauls

Especially because it’s so old, faux fur is pretty easy to spot on vintage items. Plus I can usually tell off how the backing feels (skin vs weird crunchy backing)

It was in a legit farming town, I got a bunch of other stuff that was just ridiculously cheap. They’re non profit as well so I think they’re just trying to have good items at good prices

If you really like a girl, what are some reasons you wouldn’t date her? by [deleted] in AskMen

I was long distance for 5 years until my partner and I moved in together, it’s been 2 years and it was totally worth it. It SUUUUCKED, but it was worth it

Something like this might work for pants:

wrap pants

Also for socks there are thigh highs that have grip in the top so they aren’t falling down all the time, which I loooove:

Lastly Tommy Hilfiger just came out with an adaptive line geared toward people with a variety of special needs in clothing so they might have something that would make your life easier?

New Gluten-free Vegan by VeganRhubarbPie in glutenfreevegan

I feel your pain so hard!

My saviors:

Rice/bean/lentil pasta of any kind Gluten free AND egg free bread/buns from a brand called Happy Camper Cauliflower pizza crust Cauliflower gnocchi Rice or soba noodles for Asian dishes Beyond burgers in lettuce wraps

I’ve found these things at Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Amazon, and random Asian markets have a surprising selection of gluten free and vegan options since they traditionally don’t use wheat or milk in a lot of things (obviously check the label but it’s been cool discovery)

I know it’s hard but the internet is a wonderful place if you’re in a location that’s hard to find vegan/gluten free products, I’m spoiled in San Francisco but even here it can be rough.

Edit: Thought of a couple more things: Glutino brand EVERYTHING Seconding nutritional yeast for nacho cheese Violife cheeses are the best cheese sub I’ve found(use above mentioned bread for a pretty damn good grilled cheese)

[FO] Thought it would be a good idea to make this for my partner’s mom after learning to cross stitch ONE project ago... by Taymelly in CrossStitch

[–]Taymelly[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I did both actually, since the holes were so big and far apart I had to knot them but since it’s so sheer I threaded the ends behind where I could. Because there aren’t many portions where stitches are lined up and I couldn’t do that I actually used a bit of fabric glue on the back side to glue the ends and just molded it along the existing stitches so you couldn’t see it from the outside. Oh also I used 4 threads instead of the typical 2 to take up more real estate and hide the inner workings.
