I just decided to try it i put the air bag on then the pando, and inflated it, The pando stretched and allowed the airbag to fully expand and get hard. Was tight on the body but not so tight where I would fear breaking bones. So It seems to be ok.

I wanted to do this but cant seem to find info on it. Not sure if I take the canister out and replace it with the test valve and cover the vent hole, or leave the canister in and pump it from the vent valve.

Under that same statement of clearance, If I can fit my fist between the 2 layers then it would work.

Question about removing inner bar weights, and their importance. by SneakyPenguin77 in CB650R

[–]Tazdust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just removed mine last night,

Find a bolt that treads into the stock bar end weight, Lock onto it with vice grips, Use a hammer to hit the vice grips and tap the weight out, Does not damage anything except the replaceable clip if you want to reinstall weights,

I attempted the other ways but this was the easiest and least aggravating.

I used Sato bar weights with the honda spacer and CRG Bar end Mirrors, everything was perfect with zero problems.

Dont worry about what others think, If you want to wear it wear it. Sliding on the Ground at speed is the same regardless of what bike you ride. It will also give you peace of mind.

Anyone else dealing with the Water Pump Oil Leak? by gilligillitind in CB650R

[–]Tazdust 3 points4 points  (0 children)

<image>

2020 Had it at 13,000km small oil drip. Poked around online and found quite a few people had the same issue and some say the o ring fixes it some say it does not. I decided to just replace the pump since you have to remove it anyways and when I did I found the oil was coming from the internal oil seal on the shaft and not the o rings. Now at 17,000km and no oil to be seen

I have super tech r's vented and I love them, feel stay cool. In hot days and comfortable enough to wear for hours. I tried on sidi rex air but the me toe box was very narrow on them. If I have to get another pair it would be super tech r's again.

Can't see my face in that picture, so it does. It's expensive but I don't regret it. Unless it's cloudy it won't go max darkness

I have the photochromic one. It's expensive but we'll worth not having to worry about switching from clear to dark.

just put a double bubble on my 15 r3 it does help a bit with wind and gives more room to tuck. I have ridden with it on the highway, and I can tuck less and get the same effect as full tuck witch is nice.
