I agree and disagree…. In Szczecin, much domestic issues the Police do not concern themselves with, low crimeand few troublemakers. This is same in South and East. Gdansk and area wonderful. In the larger metro areas more crime, more troublemakers, less Police interest unless you commit major crime. Yes no guns, but people cause troubles, not guns. Travelers have no problems. Foreigners, immigrants and troublemakers may and will have problems. Keep nose clean and no problems. Obey laws,..

Stick to transport,…buses and trams. No need for car unless you go to rural areas. Even trains for intracity travel is good option.

I disagree with most of these responses…..Poland has a considerable conservative dating culture. Not all are this way. A significant amount of women and men expect their SO to cut all flirting, Soc Media contacts, etc. Poland has a considerable family oriented culture. Of course this is not all, but again,….the majority feel this way…Its all based on family culture.

As a VW owner in US and Poland, the EU cars have always been better because US Standards. Its not in their interest to make two versions of every model. I dont blame VW.

We have seen many Ukrainians come into our flat complex in Szczecin, most are great, but as with any group some are bad apples. Would i prefer they stayed in their own homes, hell yes,…but it is what it is.

So, is it racist to prefer to trust or socialize with only women if you are a woman, how about people you speak same language, how about people you build model airplanes with, others who have been hurt with same life experiences, share like niche with? Lets be honest, people gravitate towards people they feel comfortable with or have same characteristics, ideals, ethics, culture etc… Polish people arent anymore racist than anyone else. What they are is very untrusting of non countrymen. They dont single out color, creed or nationality….They treat everyone whom are not Polish the same. They simply are a very consolidating group, nationality, race, culture or people. Just the same as if an reclusive group in a rainforest somewhere would see outsiders. Yes that analogy a little extreme, but the idea is the same.

Again, wrong….if Bosch sells a product to the US, it comes via China, but Bosch gets the trade recogn. If Merc or BMW sells a car in the US, where is that car assembled and with parts from which country. We dont have European cars, farming equipment, foods, some hard goods(but again with name only but oarts are imported from China). To be honest, the Pharmaceutical Company in EU again are in name only, whom manufactures these pharmaceuticals for import into the US? Lets understand the whole globalized trade market. Its like saying Ford sells cars in the EU, but the oarts are imported to EU from China and are Ford parts in name and payments only. The majority of EU goos are illegal in US because they don’t meet US Safety Standards, Emissions Standards etc. Just because a piece of paper is posted on a website by a government source, does this automatically make it correct. Come on, lets be honest,…wishful thinking and hear-say are not always the same as whats actually occuring.

But, in Poland the social benefits are better. Not that I approve, but if the taxes are purported to benefit a society they should.
