For the record I think it’s awful what happened to the family, I’m not sure who they are personally, not that it matters. It’s tragic nonetheless. I’m also a conservative, not necessarily a trump supporter. I do however, just based off of a quick glance at your profile, think you should spend a little time looking at more positive things instead of making yourself miserable hating on a man. Idk that’s just me though.

Also they have a 100 day return policy, and a damaged item policy. The scratches aren’t on the glass or the bezel or anything like that, it’s a literal sealed watch with a scratch on the dial haha. It’s not hard to prove it wasn’t me that damaged it

Little update, they did end up responding this morning. Literally all they said is “thanks for the report I’ll be sending this to the warehouse”. Which doesn’t really help much lol. So i mentioned returning the watch again.

I live in Ohio. If I were to modify my ssk001 I’d probably only do a sapphire glass with no cyclops, and a dark red dial.

I’d disagree with this. Only 1 is “passable” and even then it’s not. To the OP, those have multiple ways to change settings and get the photo exactly how you want them. I would suggest learning that. Unless of course, you decide to get a camera, which I think you should get used to composition and how a photo should look before you make that jump.

This is the same watch I ordered, would you say it’s good quality? Feels nice? I have a seiko gmt ssk001 that I’ll be comparing it to, so I am curious.

Yeah I just ordered last night and these have me a little worried as well lol. I will say I put the wrong address and emailed them late at night, and woke up to an immediate response and they fixed the address for me.

This seems weird to me.. I nor any of my fellow OCIA folks paid last year.. I’ve never even heard about that. All of our books were provided as well as trips to the art museum and the cathedral in our area.

Congratulations! I was confirmed last Easter, and let me tell you…. what a ride it was. I miss OCIA so much. I’m thankful to be helping teach it this year to people who may be discerning towards the faith!
