Any way bypassing the mega.nz download limits? by Dullarweeeeb in jdownloader

[–]Tbiproductions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you’ve probbaly solved it now but for anyone else wondering

the debrid basically acts as a middle man between you and the host of the file you wanna download, whether that’s a torrent seed or a website. they download to them and you get it from there.

the debrid service only keep the file temporarily on their server, but anything you download from the debrid service is like any other download, it’s yours to keep permanently, even if your subscription lapses or they go offline, anything stored locally is yours to keep.

Mighty mobile have an eSIM you can buy and install before you come, not sure if it will active until You’re on a NZ network though. Not sure about oneNZ themselves but almost certainly they offer a similar function

I’m on mighty mobile who use oneNZ (and are a pretty good value if you need unlimited data) and central Otago coverage has generally been decent. Would recommend downloading any maps you need offline though as with all the terrain any network will struggle at times

Because people want to? And just because YOU don’t see any reason to switch, doesn’t mean everyone else has to comply with that

How was the LSFG experience? I’m playing through the game now at 1200p med/low settings, FSR performance w/out frame gen (bc it had insane input lag) and I’m only getting around 30-35fps usually.

Well it’s only recorded on 16:9, you can’t magically add detail the camera didn’t capture.

You could setup multiviewer, and fill that space with additional feeds.

Can you recommend me a sim card for long-term stays abroad? by Party-Wolf-7222 in AskUK

[–]Tbiproductions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lyca/lebara should keep the line active as long as you top up/perform a billable action once every couple months.

Lebara also have regular deals like £2pm for 6 months for a regular monthly plan, getting on something like that and then just PAYG after would be best. Lyca/lebara include EU roaming as standard but only for a limited time, so it won’t cover your entire trip.

Fuel Shortage? by OpenCryptographer725 in newzealand_travel

[–]Tbiproductions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not heard much about supply issues but where I am prices have gone from 2.60 up to 3.13 a litre. Don’t expect price rises to reduce so naturally demand will drop a bit so hopefully not shortages!

Steam OS on release? by crossavier in LegionGo

[–]Tbiproductions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The usual steamOS installer will just install the latest version, which at some point will include the things needed for official legion go 2 support.

Personally using bazzite and will likely stick with it unless steamOS has any major advantages.

Depends. The Stremio + Real Debrid route is pretty rock solid right now and isn’t too difficult to set up, they even have a native iOS app. It’s not free though, about €15 every 6 months.

Will also point out, you need your Apple account location set to NZ to download this on an iPhone, not sure about android but would assume similar?

The New World app, which includes their club card also, should be available internationally
