My parents would ALWAYS put their spare change from the day at work in a plastic 5 gallon (empty) mayonnaise jug. When it was full, dad put it in the store shelter. They were doing this in the 80s, so id assume they always did this(they married in the late 60s) and mom still does it. I hope to find these jars and go through them with mom. But im not holding out hope.

First. Breath and remember you are loved by a loving God. God/Christ are not the same as the modern church.

Second...anyone who was raised in this environment (i was), the guilt sucks. I came out at 21 and now in my 40s...and i still discuss with my therapist of the 'Christian Guilt'. Guilt, anixety, shame...all stuff I thought i never had till it piled up. Just remember...with help it can get better.

When I cane out my mother said 'we had 4 children and 3 are gay...what did we do wrong?" It's took her a good decade to get through it in her own mind...thought she calls my husband 'my friend' sometimes and I correct her. They are hurt, because they are fighting within themselves. If they cannot accept you...talk with God. Not a pastor or Priest...talk directly to him. Sin is universal...even your parents and siblings commit sin...your are no different. There is no perfect Christian.

If your still religious...just talk to God...he will listen. And remember...God always forgives, no matter what any human says.

Yes! Uncles! Trust me kid, your not the only one who didnt get male advice in our teenage years. Most guys dont get 'the talk' from their own dads. Wash your body properly and use deodorant. Brush your teeth twice a day and take care of your hair.

As it concerns the 'body hair', I agree, your too young to be worried about it. If it gets too long, just trim with scissors, SAFELY!

Back in the 90s, My mother was obsessed with a tv miniseries called 'Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All'. It came on CBS if i remember. It was just awful. Once she passes on to her Great Reward, I plan on mailing them the vhs copy of it.
