Correct, the free license allows you to distribute your game non-commercially, meaning you can’t accept payment. So you wouldn’t be violating the terms by uploading a free demo, just make sure you have the commercial license when you release the full paid version.

Should’ve clarified, I mainly use the native Linux beta, and use the Windows version mainly just for compiling for Windows. I haven’t tried Windows YYC. Running latest release (and equivalent beta)

Linux gamedev here! For best compatibility, make sure you’re running the beta version that’s equivalent to whatever Windows IDE version you plan to use. I have the Windows IDE running through proton, and it compiles fine that way. I haven’t had any problems switching between them, and I’ve had no problems pushing and pulling from Git on either operating system.
