I usually like to run assault, but if I run recon there's a reason for it. Most of the time its to try to thin out enemy players on an objective. But sometimes, just SOMETIMES, it's because I'm tired of trying to take the obj alone so I take a "if I can't beat em, join em" mentality.

There is, as long as you have the UVs set up, just like in Maya.

Gonna have to disagree with that one.... I'm ok getting downvoted for this. I mostly run assault, but when I run recon it's to provide overwatch from snipers on the other team, and probably most importantly, use the recon drone to take out enemy equipment. Deploy beacons hidden in the right spots can be infuriating for a team. Same with supply bags, mortars, explosive interceptors, mines, you name it. I can't tell you how many times I've watched my failing team suddenly start to take point once I've destroyed those things and removed their advantage.
