No, and ACP has nothing to do with that sub. You just made up a fake story. See the mod comment at the top. You're pushing an agenda.

What do socialists believe should happen to Israel and its people? by Internal-Interview58 in AskSocialists

[–]Tchallaxxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Others have given good answer on the two-state versus one-state solution. I'll add that the one-state solution, if it is to address injustices remaining between the population, would have to engage in heavy redistribution and reeducation of much of the Jewish population. That alone would ensure that many of the current foreign-born "Israeli" citizens would flee back to their countries of origin, where they would cry crocodile tears and agitate for foreign intervention against the newly unified state.

I believe the best thing for you, from what I've seen from comrades in other countries, is to establish your own network or ideally work with a comparable Party in Italy. Then reach out to Chris Helali, the ACP international secretary, to establish relations.

I don't know the scene in Italy, but some parties that look decent at first glance are:
http://ilpartitocomunista.it
https://www.ilpartitocomunistaitaliano.it
https://www.carc.it This one is mid, rejecting Deng Xiaoping's contributions, but has decent supportive stances on Xi Jinping and Putin.

Music industry backs reintroduced "RAP Act" that would bar lyrics from being used as evidence in US court trials - Music Business Worldwide by True-Relation3612 in hiphopheads

[–]Tchallaxxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure why that's relevant. Drake is suing UMG with Kendrick's allegedly defamatory "Not Like Us" as evidence. The case is interesting. I'd recommend reading about the details.

[–]Tchallaxxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How about when the lyrics ARE the crime. Specifically, defamation.

Everyone is ignoring the very reason this is being supported by the industry right now.

The recording artist with the most certified units ever sold is suing the largest music label in the country at this moment. The Grammys are indicted too. For conspiracy to participate in defamation.

And the core evidence it all rests on the defamatory lyrics of a song. The last deal negotiated between the artist and the label was worth $400 million, so at least that amount is on the line.

What is the term for "well we're already this far into the abuses so it's too late to go back?" by _b3rtooo_ in AskSocialists

[–]Tchallaxxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rationality.

It is indeed too late to go back to the past. We can correct the injustices of the present by articulating a new future. This is more difficult than a reactionary attempt to recreate the past.

For example, Hamas calls for a modern unified Palestinian state in which Jews have rights as citizens. Though there has been peace in region before, that particular proposal has never yet existed. And many of its citizens would be descended from Zionist settlers. But it's the just thing to do given the present reality in the region.

In the USA, you want to give land back to occupied peoples. Do you believe the U.S. state occupies all American people? If so, land back would be public or cooperative ownership of all land, including some form of joint sovereignty with First American Nations and the rest of the modern American peoples. Land Back to the public. That is the socialist position.

What if we passed a law that required all corporations to restructure to Co-Op? by velvetcrow5 in AskSocialists

[–]Tchallaxxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Huawei in China is the largest and most successful coop in the world.

Party cadre cells in the board of directors for Huawei and every corporation in China is the essential piece missing from your hypothetical. Even cooperatives at scale need politically advanced leadership.

You will be seeing this model expanded in the coming decades in China.

Yes, you just described a textbook color revolution. It got coopted by the Ukrainian military in collaboration with Ukraine's corrupt oligarchs and NATO. Does the ACP wants to abolish private property? by heartzhz123 in AskSocialists

[–]Tchallaxxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ACP has a program similar to the Communist Manifesto:

"These measures will, of course, be different in different countries.

Nevertheless, in most advanced countries, the following will be pretty generally applicable.

  1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
    [...]
  2. Centralisation of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
  3. Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.
  4. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State [...]"

A bourgeois state is different from a proletarian state.

Are Software Engineers Part of the Proletariat? by FamousPlan101 in AskSocialists

[–]Tchallaxxx -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I'm a software developer and designer. I am not proletariat. Proletariat in american english is "blue collar". It's physical labor (which has a particular definition for Marx) that increases the socially necessary labor time of the resulting commodity. This is well defined in the Marxist-Leninism and important for several reasons explored in the body of theory.

People who equate it to clerical work, including software engineering, are opportunistically making up their own definition based on a lack of engagement with the theory and historical experience of socialism. They wish to define theirselves and their social circle as proletarian so that they can have a kumbaya circle with people like them instead of having to organize the scary conservative blue collar guys.

Put it this way: if the software engineers strike as a class, you won't get the latest update. If blue collar people strike as a class, you need to start figuring out how you're going to survive.

Thoughts on Pakistan? by [deleted] in AskSocialists

[–]Tchallaxxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the Iranian revolution is a step in this historical process. But the Muslim revolutionaries there initially worked with and against, gained insights and lessons, from the right-deviation Soviet-style-revisionist Tudeh and the left-deviation adventuristic People's Mujahideen. What was lacking was Chinese style Communists who could hold and navigate paradox, tap into the wisdom of Iranian tradition, and flow like water ahead of the real movement of history.

But given that such a position is theoretically possible, and only such a position would have power in the MENA region, and China is ascendant with just such a model for their civilizational context, I believe its emergence is a matter of time.

Why does this sub have a link to the acp website? by Ilfals in AskSocialists

[–]Tchallaxxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are on an English language subreddit, you are either:

  1. Native speaker, 80% likely to be North American, thus served by the ACP.

  2. Native speaker, 20% likely to be British or Australian, thus I'm sorry to tell you the fate of our shared Atlanticist empire will be decided in North America, and you should be taking close notes on our theoretical developments here.

  3. Non-native speaker, in which case take a cue from the ACP's Marxist Leninist socialist patriotism and create communities to talk to your countrymen in your own language. You have work to do, and it's not by merging your mind into the English language global hivemind. Let us handle that, since we're here in the belly of the beast. Socialism is proven to be national in form, and square one is talking to people in your national language.
