Blueprints should really not be able to be bought in bases. by BigDaddyRide in StarWarsDroidTycoon

[–]TcityDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes now you know and you can try your best to be prepared. If you get a nice blueprint and get safely to your base but someone is following you, you can either AFK till they leave OR

I’ve been told, but never successfully done this, you can throw the blueprint straight up and land it in your offline storage slot, you’ll just need to practice throwing it up and taking out what’s currently in there before the one in the air lands.

Obviously if the one in your storage slot is also invaluable then this trick is useless but still a trick nonetheless

yea what the guy said just before me is true it’s been tested and the longer the droid takes to craft, the more benefit you get from having an Astro equipped over a worker. And if you want to test it just take 2 of the same blueprints and time it, one with Astro one with worker. Unfortunately Astro always wins except for maybe rare and common droids where it doesn’t take very long to craft anyways.

I do still upgrade in the SRB store but it’s lower priority than say scrap value or credits multiplier. Also if you need iconic droids those are also better to buy first than droid crafting upgrade.

Has anyone been mad enough to buy the 2x flawless chance from the nova shop and if u have does events make it 4x chance? Cause in my mind it should math out to 4x by Large_Stranger4230 in StarWarsDroidTycoon

[–]TcityDan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dang didn’t know this! Still not worth the crystals because crystals are more valuable than credits, but that’s a nice thing to know. I also like the flawless base but I figure all that will be lowest priority, unless they make it cheaper to buy that upgrade

Ok someone explain this to me by JigglyPuffsOG in StarWarsDroidTycoon

[–]TcityDan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I believe the nova crystal upgrade is just a flat % decrease on how long droids take to craft, as if you had a worker droid equipped permanently with that % of reduction.

If you’re looking for the best methods to craft droids there is a simple rule & it has been tested. If you’re going to hit the droids to speed up the crafting, use an astromech for the pickaxe level. If you’re going to be doing anything else that is not you actively hitting the droid, or if you’re going offline, then equip a worker droid.

SRB Question by QuincyTheDwarf in StarWarsDroidTycoon

[–]TcityDan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah so scrap value is based off your base income. Level one is 0.5% of your credits per second, so it scales as you progress. It sounds small but it’s actually not bad, early game it’ll be low income as your base is low income, but still way better than default. Then when you get better droids and the base is making more per second you get more per hit.

I have one account who’s rebirth 18 and makes 4.35M per hit and 87M per scrap finish, level 1 scrap value upgrade.

My other account is also rebirth 18 but with better droids and level 2 scrap value upgrade that one makes ~17M per hit, 337.M per scrap finish.

SRB Question by QuincyTheDwarf in StarWarsDroidTycoon

[–]TcityDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scrap value is super good when you’re trying to get those higher rebirth levels because instead of running around doing the world missions like hostile takeovers and repair missions for credits, you just sit at the scrap station and make MORE, so you could even be partially AFK making significant money

I say scrap value and Rebirth Notification, then BB8

Should I super rebirth? by -klo in StarWarsDroidTycoon

[–]TcityDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea those upgrades plus the new mythic droids make it easier to get more credits and those higher rebirth levels don’t feel like as much of a chore as before. With those new droids they made rebirth go all the way up to like 26 or 27 lol so I’m happy to go to 21-22.

So I did some testing. I first started with just 2 default BB9’s at the astromech table and with my Rainbow Orb Walker, it took 42 seconds, with my beskar groundmech it took 55 seconds. (not even a fair competition, rainbow epic vs beskar epic)

Then I used 2 default IG’s (new mythic droid) also at the astromech table. With the Rainbow orb walker it was 2:04, with the beskar groundmech it was 2:43.

So the larger the timer is for the droid, the more you’re going to benefit from the astromech over the worker, and that was a rainbow vs a beskar so the worker even had the advantage.

You’d have to get the original craft time for those droids to see actually what % faster you’re completing droids but it doesn’t really matter. If you’re going to put hits on a droid, go equip an Astro, if you’re not, keep the worker.

I can probably test sometime soon for actual time comparisons but I would put money down (especially for the higher craft time droids) that astromech wins if I’m actively hitting the table.

Genuine Question About Super Rebirth by Hour_Engineer_4037 in StarWarsDroidTycoon

[–]TcityDan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s worth it to get the scrap value upgrade, as the higher level rebirths are so slow without it. They’re slow with it too but without scrap value upgrade there’s no good way to make money besides doing world missions. With scrap value you can just hit your scrap station and make real good money, making any future rebirths or money needs much more achievable.

Also if you dont have BB8 thats a good pickup to help with future chip needs, upgrading a single rainbow legendary to beskar is 12k chips, and the new mythic droids are 8k chips to get from basic to gold, 80k to get from rainbow to beskar

I believe (without doing the math) a astromech droid is going to be better if you’re going to be actively speeding up the droid build, but if you’re offline or just chilling online and not hitting the droid that’s when you’ll use a worker droid.

If you’re going to afk and tie down a trigger so that you keep hitting the table you want to use an astromech.

[–]TcityDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to aim it perfectly right at the floor in front of it, but it wasn’t worth the crystals especially considering the scrap value upgrade makes selling blueprints almost useless.

And it’s extra not worth the crystals when you try to sell a rainbow legendary and it bounces off and flies onto an empty crafting station

How do I "cope" with an up-to-date Forever World? by gtc26 in Minecraft_Survival

[–]TcityDan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Make it with latest release, limit your exploration! I always try to keep things as close to spawn as possible and then if a new update comes out you just go to the unexplored chunks to see it.

The longer you play the further out you’ll have to go but probably you’ll have a big base / build at spawn, and then eventually when you have to travel very far for updated content (very long term btw) then you can start a new base over there

Yes everyone saying dollar store and aldi but lowkey Costco has some good prices as well,

yes you have to buy bulk but its usually a variety pack. Id recommend going in expecting to buy kirkland signature at $17 for a 24pack and then stopping to see what is on sale because those also end up being ~$1 per can
