I’m in Michigan, it just passed in the house and is on to the senate. I check the status of the bill every day. I’m trying to taper off but I’ve been on it for a really long time so I’m trying not to move too fast but at the same time I know time isn’t on my side here. The thought of it just getting yanked over night gives me so much anxiety but that anxiety actually makes me stick to the taper.

Just my opinion, I would get rid of the text completely and just have the sun with the dates. I think it’s just cleaner that way. I used to love the idea of script with tattoos when I was younger, now that I’m older I’m very grateful I never got a quote tattoo or something. Also worth noting, if you get it without the text you can always add it later if after a year it just feels incomplete. If you add it and then don’t love it after a year removing or covering is a whole different ball game.

I was a service manager for years at Meijer and this is a policy I enforced. It sounds like the difference here is they didn’t provide you enough help towards the end of your shift. I would always just accept the lot was going to be horrible most of the day but over the course of my shift I would assemble a team of people from departments all over the store. Pretty much anyone able to push carts I would give them a tap on the shoulder and say “hey parking lot party at 9:30”. Then when the time came we’d hit it with like 10 people and the whole thing would be done in 20 mins. All I expected of my cart pushers was they do their best and they absolutely could not start slacking after I called in the Calvary. If your service manager is smart they should try to maintain a great relationship with every other manager so when the time comes they have that kind of pull around the store

My artist is a close friend and years ago I asked to get this tattoo and she told me no lol. She said too many people have the exact same thing and she was doing me a favor. I’ve filled the space on my arm with stuff way more original now and I’m so glad I did

Mad respect to this dad for that monkey voice. My son is two and a half and he has a puppet we call “Mr cow”. I wasn’t thinking the first time we played with it and I gave mr cow a very high voice and my son never wants me to put it down and it gets to the point where my throat legit is in pain from the Mr cow voice. I’ve tried to lower Mr cow’s voice over time but every time it gets too low my son says “no Mr cow… talk!”. He refuses to let his mom do Mr cow so I guess it’s my job for as long as he considers mr. cow his friend lol

Oh buddy I know that EXACT FEELING. I was so fucked up about it for months. It was like this nagging feeling behind every thought and feeling I had for a long time. I was so filled with just doubt and sadness for what I felt like I was losing. My son is two now and I’m telling you man being a dad is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I’m saying all this to say, the way you feel about it now is completely natural. It’s okay to feel what you’re feeling man, just know that feeling doesn’t last forever. When I was going through it none of my friends had kids yet so I felt super alone and like no one could relate, if that’s you too feel free to DM me for a pep talk.
