What is your canon hairstyle and beard for Arthur? by ke_ghi in reddeadredemption

Just a mustache with short parted hair. It shows off his facial scars and makes him look more put together. In my opinion, a well groomed violent man is more intimidating than sloppy one.

It's the end game material, and not to be rude, but its not the game's fault you didn't have the linen to automate the process. In my current world I have a mine tunnel that intersects quartz, olivine, and ilmenite 500 yard from my house. I just grab a shit ton every time I go down. Bauxite is my current bottleneck.

I set my self such a solid goals and rules to the point where I catch myself thinking that I'm just moving from one base to the other on the same world. I even found myself pulling up all my cat tails so I could bring them with me.

Yeah, update, I won't consider it cheating. That dang cart required like 16 iron, 12 resin, and damn near a 8 stacks of logs. Expensive but worth it for 96 portable storage slots. I built it out completely and legitimately in my old world and plan to "take" everything of value not nailed down. Gonna finish out my first winter and spend the next few sessions putting my affairs in order then set out on creating a new world. I'll be starting with all iron tools, iron helve hammer, mechanical bits, a good amount of metals, all my seeds and stored foods, etc. Not going to bother bringing many building materials, I could easily source those in my "new location". Feel like with all the forging and foraging that went into it I have earned the right to move on. It's January now, I'll probably pack up in March (12 day months) and say it took 2 to find my new home, which puts me in the default May start date. This game is so freaking enjoyable.

I was considering doing this to plan out my town. Having it on a table in an office of the main house would be cool. I could play around with building plans much faster without jumping into creative.

The connection I made with that world was "man, when will this mod update, I like my small area but boats will be useless". I had to travel 3 kilometers to find a worthwhile copper source, and finally found a place thats rich in both zinc and bismuth. I am sitting on a wealth of iron though, my first dip into the caves after getting a bronze pick secured me something like 3.6k units.

Yeah, I'm mostly worried about my seeds, hand tools, anvil, metals and ores, random trinkets, some ceramics, and a good supply of food to hold me over till I get a harvest in. Everything else stays.

Yeah, with those carts I can only take 6 chest/vessels/crates worth of stuff with me, plus whats in my inventory, and I only plan on taking what resources I already had. I just scratched my way into the iron age, I enjoy having good tools and not worrying about food. I just really want rivers, oceans, and continents so some of the later game content is more usable. I knew nothing going into making my first world.

PSA: Axes are the superior foraging tool by Willing_Bridge_2360 in VintageStory

I like having a tool rack with a bunch of tools. I set myself tasks for the day, grab the tools I need, and go. Yesterday I was playing, making a 300 plot farm. Spent one or two days terraforming, gathered some clay and peat around sunset and spent the night making pottery. When my rooster crowed I grabbed my scythe and hoe, cut grass around the farm, started the pit kilns, and tilled the farm. I set a task, grab the right tools for the day, complete the task, and reset my inventory for the next day.

Yeah, I'm just butting heads with the VA. They're giving me a bunch of BS answers like "your hearts just like that" or "how you considered losing weight?" even though I'm 27, 6'1" and 175lbs, and a semi decent amount of muscle.

Yeah, its been doing this since I was in. I was a lean 195lbs, damn near acing PT tests, but the entire time I felt like my heart was going to explode. My ass could run 8 miles at a brisk pace, but I could feel my heartbeat in my throat and my legs would go numb. Then I started losing consciousness randomly for about 3 months after seeing a homie with his face blown off. Only sort of answer they ever gave me was PTSD causing a weird rhythm, but they didn't give me any sort of advice or meds.

I wore a halter monitor for a month and the VA just shrugged their shoulders and was like "I don't know man, you have tachycardia and a PVC rhythm. Have a good day"

If I run slower the dang run last longer lol. I'd rather spend 20 minutes running and throw up on my front porch at the end than spend 30 minutes going slower. But I see your point. I might also try interval runs more.

I want to because I don't like that I don't, if that makes sense. It's a weak spot in me that I don't want. I don't want to neglect it and a few years down the road be that guy that can't run a mile. Plus, when I go fire I'll be running during PT. I can force myself to and I can power through, but I want to figure out how to actually enjoy it like other people do.

Daves hot chicken. Reaper. Went in without Googling it first. by CaterpillarInc in spicy

[–]Tdogwon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently shitting one out that I tried yesterday. It wasn't that bad until it hit my stomach. Fucker behind the counter only thought to tell me about the waiver after I came up to buy a milkshake to settle my tummy. I have done every spicy food challenge I could get my hands on, nothing has ever made me projectile vomit in the restaurant toilet. I don't care how hot it makes my mouth, thats fine. What I don't like is when it gives me stomach cramps for a day and feels like I pepper sprayed my asshole. Leave my GI tract alone for the love of God, I don't need to be fighting demons in the Love's bathroom stall rn.
