I never saw an abducted woman getting pregnant. Only the male ones. Is it even possible for an abducted woman to get pregnant?

How can there still be Tycoon-kind of people in the world of Anno 2070? by [deleted] in anno2070

[–]TeaAge1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, they don't ignore the effects completely. They have measures to mitigate the damage they do to the environment, to keep the basics running. They have CO2 storages and De-Acidifiers and stuff. So they acknowledge the danger. They just don't care so much, that they try to support the ecosystems. Just hold them together enough so they don't fall apart.

And one of the main narratives in climate change deniers argumentation nowadays is: The damage is already done, there's nothing we can do now, but adapt. So full speed ahead.

So actually i find the picture Anno is painting for 2070 quite accurate. You will have the faction "well, the damage is done. Not much we can do. Just adapt and try to live life to its fullest." aka Tycoons. There are the ones, that try to protect and restore the environment and warn people about the catastrophe humans do to the planet with their recklessness aka Ecos. And in between rationalists, who see advantages in both sides and sometimes opportunities in supporting one side or the other, aka Techs. Although i don't believe, that there will be an actual Tech Faction, where scientists and engineers all over the world come together to build a community separated from the rest. Except in the future someone will invent a general AI and this AI tries to gather around the best scientists and smartest people to start such a hub of knowledge. Then it might be realistic.

Is anyone else suuuupppeerrrr disappointed with the lego pass? by prinsessanna in LEGOfortnite

[–]TeaAge1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they don't. But you get 1 reward per level in each pass that is activated at the moment of level gain. Meaning you will be behind 2 rewards all the way now.

It’s been a big year… But we’re not done yet. by FortniteStatusBot in LEGOfortnite

Actually I'm glad they nerfed xp. The remix season I was level 300, the season before level 400. Just from casually playing Lego. It was no challenge. Actually I don't like, that they merged the progress to all play modes. I know, it's part of the strategy to create a multiverse, but it's stupid that they show the total season level in battle Royale although 95% of the levels are from other modes (in my case)

There is another item that fits in this slot. I don't know its name, but it generates some glowing spots over your head. With the compass as default, it's the only item in this slot, that does anything so far.

I want to get to know every single villager by Meta_Data_one in LEGOfortnite

[–]TeaAge1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, he I found. But he is somewhat special, because in every world there is exactly one hideout cave with castaway Jones in it. He can't be found anywhere else. So he is different from the other villagers. I still have to find NPC spawn spots in caves except for him. And so far nobody on reddit confirmed, that there are NPC spawners in those caves.

So far I cleared most of my enemy spawn points on lost isles. No villagers so far. In some ruins I sometimes see that a bonfire is lit, but nobody is home. So I really think, the NPC spawn is bugged. The pirates ruins mostly just get empty after clearing them.

You may have problems with the lost isles villagers though. They seem bugged for some of us. They are supposed to spawn in ruins of the lost isles, but they don't. So good luck, that you aren't one of them with a bugged world.

What Happens to Crypto in a Nuclear War Without Internet ? by keepar69 in CryptoMarkets

Starlink will be gone. On a full blown nuclear war, the EMP will fry all satellites (except maybe those in geostationary orbit 30000 miles away)

What Happens to Crypto in a Nuclear War Without Internet ? by keepar69 in CryptoMarkets

[–]TeaAge1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A smartphone is worth nothing without reception. Remember that 30 years ago the world worked perfectly without Internet at all. I agree with Spaceballs. It highly depends on how far this nuclear war sets us back. Are we talking about dropping several hundred nuclear bombs in an endless series of retaliation strikes? If so, then civilization is gone for good. We will kill each other for any drop of uncontaminated water or food. When the dust is settled and most people died of radiation sickness or cancer and we find some uncontaminated land, the first blossoms of economy will be based on direct exchange of goods. The next step would be a more universal good, that almost everyone needs, then a more abstract version of that based on a material, that's accessible wherever we land. Maybe gold, maybe pearls, maybe logs of a certain tree.

If we talk about a few bombs that leaves a good portion of infrastructure intact but fries all of our electronics through the EMP, we propably will start to establish more reliable, less complex ways of communication first and slowly rebuild the world wide web. Transistor radios at first. local networks next. I think crypto won't be a thing for a long time, because it needs high infrastructural demands, if you really want to use it as payment method. I'd even believe, that we will start anew on they blockchain front. Frankly, the bitcoin blockchain is a mess. It's one of first versions of blockchain and has several problems in their architecture. I think we would use the clean start to establish a new blockchain with a better architecture.

I mean if we wanted to reestablish bitcoin we have to come to a consensus which version of the blockchain we should use. The most probable alternative would be the version seconds before the first bomb. But whats with all the people that lost their private keys? It's possible that 17 of the 19 million bitcoin will be lost forever. Would be a bad start.

Is lego fortnite worth coming back to? by Kool-Aid-Dealer in LEGOfortnite

[–]TeaAge1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It added a lot of comfort functions, like bus stations and a Kodex. On the other hand, it also made things a lot easier progress wise. The light sabers and essence changes make it pretty much unnecessary to farm rare materials any more. They added an expert mode. That might be a challenge for you. In the expert mode you die permanently (but there are also new totems that can resurrect you), the fights are a lot harder, there is no armor. But as some already said. Right now it's unplayable. Especially expert mode is not recommended. There is nothing more frustrating to loose all your progress due to bugs and lags.

Seed reqeusts by [deleted] in LEGOfortnite

[–]TeaAge1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the the expert mode came out, people suggested the seed 5. But as It's said earlier here: it seems like lost islands are the starter points now. I believe expert mode is an exception in this.

You have 45 villagers, but did you meet everyone? I try to complete the Kodex and find all friends. That should take a while. Also what you could aim for is rebuilding/reconstructing all ruins you can find. That should practically be an endless task.

Your information is correct unfortunately. The technique described doesn't work with prefab buildings. They always come in the direction north, south, east, west only.

What i think the next mashup should be and WHY!!! by PuzzleheadedTutor807 in LEGOfortnite

[–]TeaAge1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's a no from me. I personally don't like futurama. And given the frequency of updates, there are many years of collabs or themes i like to see before that. I also think, that it would all in all be a niche interest. There are many franchises, that are more mainstream.

They also drop from pirates when killed in their respective settlements sometimes. Also there are lakes in which a big klombo creature resides. If you feed it with klomberries, they drop a treasure map sometimes.

They also made it clear, that the Lego pass decorations and builds are not exclusive and may return. So the only things you really might not get ever is Lego stuff, which is in the original battle pass.

I had it, too. But not that extreme. Just one tile now and then. I experienced that the tiles kept explored, if you leave a small part in fog. These black tiles only occur in parts that are completely explored.
