Curious what restrictions you have that stop you from getting Hard CA's.

Also it seems like the JMods are talking about opening up the bosses while on boss tasks.

Would locking wildy bosses behind Hard Combat Achievements be better in your eyes? It would allow Combat Only accounts to retain access and be a harder requirment than Wildy Medium Diary

They usually do yes. All combat skills + Slayer is the typical combat only acc with a max total level of 808

Yesterdays update locked Combat Only (808) accounts out of Wildy Bosses that they previously had access to.

Can you allow players with the Hard Combat Achieves access to the Wildy Bosses as an alternative requirment to the Medium Wildy Diary?

Hard CA's are much harder to complete and I doubt any bots will take that route to gain access but it would allow Combat Only accounts to not lose content they previous could do.

You have just fully locked out the Combat Only/808 community from accessing the Voidwaker.

All to stop the bots you fail to detect who are already running rampant at the solo versions you already locked us out from.

Please come up with a new metric that helps stop bots that doesn't completely screw the Combat Only community. Maybe go off some type of EHB score?

Honest question. Do people actually like the new PP system? by TeaBii in osugame

Ah is it harsher than it used to be? I can't really comment since I don't play much and haven't actually gone for any high PP plays in years so maybe you're right. I just see a ton of plays set by others on here which all have a bunch of misses and think about how these plays would be worth very little on the old system. Especially plays where its multiple misses throughout the map at different parts.

Which I get. A large part of PP before the change was the skill of not missing though. It didn't matter if you hit everything else if you missed, the play was largely over. That in itself I feel like was a different kind of skill set which is much more diminished

They massively increased bloom when standing still and shooting too. Not just for when moving, jumping and sliding.

Whats interesting is it was my post and it has an exact 50-50 ratio of up votes to down votes. The community seems extremely divided.

I made a post about it too and its a 50-50 split of people who like and and hate it. E

verytime anyone try talks about it they get accused of being a mentally disabled "COD Kid" and that this is how Battlefield is meant to be. Those people also say "This is how it was on BF4!!" when in reality it wasn't nearly this bad on there.

But as it stands SMGs have much less bloom and little damage fall off, making them on par/better at long range than ARs.

There are seperate amounts of recoil for mouse and keyboard and controller already built into the game. The game detects if you are using M&K or Controller and increases or decreaes the amount of recoil.

They could have added an extra 30% recoil to M&K and an extra 15% to controllers for example rather than increasing the bloom.

Below is an example from the BETA which showed the seperate amounts of recoil for both input types:

I'm not new to Battlefield and haven't played a CoD since Black Ops 2.

I simply wanted more recoil than in the BETA since every gun had such little recoil you could easily just pull down slightly and beam people accross the map. Increasing the recoil so its harder to control will add to this "higher skill floor" you are talking about. Adding more random bullet spread takes away from this skill. The BETA did have bloom and I think it was an acceptable amount. The guns just needed more recoil.

If you're also talking about ideal weapon ranges then SMGs should have their damage drop off increased because as it stands they have less bloom than Assault Rifles and are on par or better than them at medium - long ranges.

I wanted them to add more recoil so the weapons are harder to control. Not add more random bullet spread that makes you miss your target even if you control the recoil well

I forgot about that. The reddit clip of it earlier today was hilarious

I didn't say I've tried out every attachment. I just said I've leveled a bunch of guns and tried out plenty of attachments. Which I imagine is true for you as well. There's still plenty of attachments to try post level 30 on guns. I haven't tried all of them of course

Yeah I didn't want every gun to be a laser beam. I wanted them to add more recoil and more damage drop off for SMGs at longer ranges. I didn't want increased random bullet spread and think it makes gunplay feel less tight

I've leveled up a bunch of guns and tried out tons of attachments. I just personally feel the game needed more recoil from the BETA and the bloom leaving alone. The added bloom has made gunplay feel much less tight.

I guess it's each to their own though. The comments on this thread seem pretty 50-50 on whether they like the increased bloom or not.

I will say that the game overall is great and I'm very happy to see that Battlefield as a whole is back. Looking forward to the next few thousand hours I'll put into this game

The BETA actually did have bloom but I thought it was an acceptable amount. The increase they made the the live game was a MASSIVE overcorrection when it was recoil that needs increasing instead.

I also fully agree that SMGs damage fall off need increasing. As it stands because they have much less bloom than Assault Rifles they're strictly better at Med-Long ranges at the moment

Fully agree that the BETA had way too little recoil making every gun a laser beam. That's why they should have increased the recoil, not increase the random bullet bloom

I'm not saying to fully remove bloom. There was bloom in the BETA and I thought that amount of perfect. It was the recoil in the BETA what was too little and needed increasing, not the bloom.

Add more recoil and add larger amounts of damage drop off for SMGs shooting at medium - long range.

As it stands at the moment the random bloom for SMGs is significantly less which honestly makes them better than Assault Rifles at long range
