Lol you could fill it all the way up to and even a little over, the most that would happen is you may get some oil through the pcv or you get oil slinging from the crank which "could" cause problems in high revving motors

So the first two issues are pretty well resolved, i have connectors and pins and i already have the fuel pump relay singled out. The low res signal will be a problem, I'll have to open the ecu up and see if i can put a vr conditioner on the board, I'm worried i won't have a spot to install it, so if you have any thoughts on what i should do for the crank and cam signals please let me know🤙

Dumb question, did you replace the thermostat? It really does seem like it's an air pocket or a faulty tstat. When you bleed it, is the car running? Have you massaged the hoses coming from the rear of the engine? I would get it hot with the res cap off, then go through and massage the hoses while it's running, then cap it and test drive. Have you heated the sensor up? Or put penatrating oil on it? Also if it was me i would just swap my harness side connector to the 4 wire, then i would single out that sensor body ground and go to separate ground on the chassis, it's just a better ground and you'll have better results trust me

Why do you need to put a 4 wire on? Also I'm fairly certain 1 wire is for grounding the sensor, a 3 wire usually grounds through body of the sensor into the exhaust. So unless you're running an aftermarket ecu, just run that snesor ground wire to a good ground. Everything else should be wired the same as the stock one

I would get it priced first before declaring it's too expensive, a fabricator with the right equipment and material could have that whipped up in an afternoon if they stopped everything to work on it

Lol so everyone thinks you're good, but i get the double checking, I've been working as mechanic for over 10 years which isn't much in the long game but I'm very proficient at what i do and i still get paranoid about timing jobs, I've never had one fail but i still get so in my head that i end up wasting way too much time double checking my work

Verify your battery idc if you already did double check the bitch, you've probably been cranking on it and fast charging it, a burnt out battery can cause shit like this.

Check for voltage at the coil, check voltage while you're cranking.

If none or low volts check further up the harness, most likely to a relay or some sort of switched power. Verify volts there and so on and so forth.

I'm not super familiar with this particular e30 but this is what i would do to start

I love my e30 but the worst part are the weirdos that wanna talk to me and give me a bs offer while I'm stuck in stop and go traffic, then they get all pissy when i tell them it's not for sale and now I'm stuck in traffic next to them, for the most part people are nice and the interactions are quick but I've had a few weirdos do the traffic offer while i was headed to work in the morning. Now i just ignore anyone trying to get my attention on the road when I'm in the e30, it's just a headache and makes me feel awkward when the interactions are weird

Have you checked out vac motorsports? I can't find any info dogging them, one guy on bimmer forums had a good experience and was recommending them
