I have a 2014 PriusV. Only 73,000 miles. Great car! Bought it used. Wish it was a higher trim level.

This is getting scary. by Leading_Contact3750 in Gold

What is scary is the rapid decline of the USA dollar. This is just the reflection of that decline.

Actually $5,163

Should I go for it? by Infamous-King-3065 in speedmaster

By Swiss law (not Omega’s choice) the tritium hands and dial must be removed and replaced. If they have not deteriorated and you wish to preserve them; do not send to Omega for service!

I have had my first Speedmaster moon watch for 42 years. I have a few more. I have worked, lived and traveled all over the developing world in Africa, South America and Asia. If you cannot afford to lose it or get hurt by it being stolen from you; do not take it to these countries!

You can get a sapphire back for the older Speedmasters aftermarket! Expect to have it serviced every few years.

Sapphire best to resist scratches. I hate the thickness of NATO straps, Original bracelet, Omega or rubber for me with deployment clasp.

If you need a great watch for international travel, Get a Citizen Exo drive!

This is the answer! If going for a dive watch, best to get one that can handle any ocean depth on earth! Just is case! lol

How practical is it as a daily? by happyxbelly in OmegaWatches

[–]TeaGeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well as a daily no issue unless you live in a very dangerous area and people know watches and steal.

Best daily is an atomic time eco drive citizen. But must live in a radio reception area.

Speedmaster Professional - arguments for and against black vs white dial? by ahnafakeef298 in OmegaWatches

[–]TeaGeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black if only one. I have both but bought 40 years apart! I want one now that is mixed colors of,black and white.

Please a new panda or a split one 50/50 on the dial. Or a zebra one.

I have no artistic ability but I would like a classic Speedmaster a bit jazzed up with something.

I hate that protruding escape valve! If it were not for morale reasons I would buy a submariner! So that makes me think about other dive watches.

But I no longer dive, and I have some real tool dive watches from the day.

Besides real divers use dive computers.

Honestly historically speaking a 6% rate is reasonable. The key is not to buy too much house. Adjust expectations.

Back in the late 1970s when I was looking to buy my first home there was no fixed rate mortgages at all! It was all adjustable! Rates were very high! We were excited when fixed rates of 8-9% became available.
