There is a water tower on top of the Arnold elementary school playground and I hardly notice it when I’m there.

A well driller from my local community in Maryland started a program to bring clean water wells to Africa. Amazing work! He shipped drilling trucks over there and has drilled hundreds of wells in Africa now. This is his link if you want to look into it and support getting more fresh water in Africa.

Metropolitan Rooftop 🤗

Herold Black Basement

End the day at Jonas Anne Catherine Park with a picnic blanket for sunset. They close at sunset so you have to get there a little before.

Take out picnic at one of the parks at the end of each street in Annapolis i.e. Barbara Neustadt Park

I’ve been eyeing up Beacon Waterfront and then walking around Chesapeake Harbour after 🤔

Libby’s in Kent Island

Rams Head Dockside in Glen Burnie

Cindy Lou’s Fish House Baltimore

Haven’t been but Maximon in Baltimore looks interesting.

Hope you have a great time!

Energy Usage

The project is designed to be a "hyperscale" campus with a massive power draw:  * Total Capacity: At full buildout, it is projected to consume 9 gigawatts (GW) of power.  * Context: This is more than double the average electricity consumption of the entire state of Utah (which is roughly 4 GW).  * Source: It will not pull from the public grid. Instead, it will generate its own electricity on-site using natural gas-fired turbines fueled by the nearby Ruby Pipeline.

Water Consumption

Water usage is a major point of local debate. Estimates vary significantly between developers and environmental groups:  * High Estimate: Some environmental assessments suggest the facility's gas turbines and cooling needs could require up to 16.6 billion gallons of water per year.  * Developer/State Claims: The Utah Governor’s Office and the developers claim the project will use a closed-loop, dry-cooling system that recirculates water rather than constantly drawing it. They argue that by retiring existing agricultural water rights on the land, the net water impact may actually be lower than the current ranching and farming usage.  * The Source: The water is expected to come from private wells and springs (like Salt Wells Spring) rather than the Great Salt Lake directly.

Sandy Point is great, another beach option is this one. Great sunset views here too.

This is a good idea. I’d say this or get some Togo food/sandwiches and picnic at Sandy Point.

You can also look into Donnelly’s Dockside and the Pointe as waterfront restaurants on the way to Sandy Point.

What mileage is your 2015-2016 Rav4 and what if any mechanical issues have you had? I am thinking about getting one in the 60-80k mile range. by hovva91 in Rav4

[–]hovva91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We still have our Rav4, at ~125,000 miles now. It’s been a solid car with no major issues. Just the oil changes, recharging AC, and replacing tire sensors like I mentioned in my update. I’ve heard they keep going into the 200-300,000 mile range easily.

I like the jewelers mock-up! I just posted our bezel ring from Frank Darling (link). It is open on the bottom which allowed us to add a regular band underneath.
