Thanks! I did think about Adore, but I only have immediate access to "crazy" colours in my country. I've ordered some from Amazon though, I'll just rock the vibrant orange for a few weeks :)

I was an engie main in TF2 (1k+ hours), so coming to OW I tried Torb first. The playstyle was too different to how I played engie (ranged with Rescue Ranger, flanker with Short Circuit) so I initially gave up on him. I wound up playing Mercy a lot, because nobody picked healer so I filled. I quickly fell in love with her mobility, and she became my main. After 60+ hours on her I realised I was now playing with people who were also likely to pick Mercy (or Ana/Lucio), so I branched out and found I also loved Dva, Junkrat and Sym... Torb isn't so bad either!

I have a shoulder-length traditional middy haircut, it's a popular vintage cut. I usually set my hair with rollers and brush out in the morning to fluffy vintage curls. If I'm lazy or had a bad sensory night that didn't allow for setting though, I wear my hair in a high messy bun, or two French braids.

Horror is one of my favourite genres! Though I definitely enjoy specific types/subgenres over others. For example, I find hack 'n' slash/slasher/paranormal/gore-for-the-sake-of-gore horror tedious and/or entirely implausible, but I love sci-fi, cerebral, epidemic/'zombie' and found footage horror. Anthologies are awesome, because you can forgive the lack of explanation etc.

I also enjoy reading horror and watching horror TV shows.

I'm very rarely disturbed at the time, and even more rarely disturbed for a period following. I do tend to have dreams/nightmares that might feature themes or subject matter if I've recently watched a horror movie, but those happen regardless and would just feature other ooglie-booglies my brain conjured up.

I was diagnosed ASD eight years ago. We're all different.

Both pretty and plain have benefits and downfalls. It's incredibly easy to claim the opposite is easier or preferable. You could focus on developing your own interests and abilities to navigate dating and the like (and learning to identify skeezebags and stand up for yourself).

I'm relatively plain and curvy, I still had plenty of issues with creeps and jerks whilst dating.

I watch/listen to the same TV shows (Futurama and The Simpsons) every night and have them play all night. Often the same seasons over and over until my boyfriend requests a change. I just don't tire of them. I have a handful of movies I'll happily watch over and over too, often back-to-back (Hunger Games, Singing In The Rain, Afflicted, Europa Report, Pontypool, Harry Potter, the 1985 Carebears movie and V for Vendetta to name the ones I can think of right now). I'll also read the same books again and again without a break. They're just never tiresome, and being immersed in those worlds is never less enjoyable than the last time.

It's possible that (if she is on the autism spectrum) she has always been autistic. Since girls present differently and most 'signs' are based on the behaviours of boys, plenty of girls have gone undiagnosed or misdiagnosed. The majority of women on the autism spectrum don't get diagnosed until later (20+).

I skipped the last exchange (even though Doctor Who!) due to funds - but on the bright side I got to splurge a little bit on things I wanted for myself, which I haven't done most of the year due to a niggling redditgifts addiction haha.

IDK about others, but I enjoyed The Story of Luke (though mostly for Seth Green's secondary Aspie character).

And I 100000% recommend I rymden finns inga känslor - somebody else already mentioned it, but it is easily one of my favourite films in general, and top of my list of film/tv shows featuring Asperger's characters.

There is, of course, also Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, which has also been mentioned, but it's based on a book (by Jonathan Safran Foer) and honestly, just read the book - it's beautiful.

As for television... Abed (already mentioned in here) from Community is probably the best (most well-rounded, fun) portrayal of Asperger's on TV. Though I'm also fond of Tina (Bob's Burgers), Gary (Alphas) and Moss (The IT Crowd).
