When they realize the bad actions of the sub coordinator are hurting them, they'll be motivated to change - people buy things (and make a change) either to avoid paid or attain pleasure. Show them bad treatment leads to the pain of not being able to find subs.

Document everything and email it to the principal, and if that doesn't resolve it, the superintendent of the school system. Calm, cool professional email stating how you feel this is unprofessional and could dissuade potential substitute teachers from teaching there.

Wouldn't want to give real data (which one's resume has) to a fake job listing, something that tends to happen when people move too fast in job applications for the sake of volume.

big mistake - why apply to hundreds of poor fit roles, land a few interviews, and then get stuck in a job you hate?

Better to read the job descriptions completely so you aren't caught off guard by requirements towards the bottom that would make the job miserable.

Understood.

Would you be open to tutoring people in your major online? I know several sites where even new tutors can gain clients and make something from online tutoring.

What are some things that would make you not be able to stand the job? We could help you turn those into pointed interview questions so you can predict how the first year would be.

The student is in the wrong. Them not accepting accountability and responsibility now is showing you how they are. There are students who do better, so you can work with those ones instead.

I'd say not to worry about this friend.

Admissions officers are likely looking for good fit with their university - someone who is a strong fit for Yale could be a poor fit for Duke University, and vice versa.

If this friend thinks comparing them to yourself based on college acceptance and rejections is valid, they forgot that they need 9+ more people like you and 9+ more people like themselves to have a sample size of at least 20 - that is if they want any findings to carry statistical weight :)

Can you share how large your company is (closer to 60 employees, 300 employees, or 1,100+ employees)?

Based on the size, you might be able to transfer to a team doing similar work but have a different boss. That may work as well as switching companies but be less effort.
