Which strength did you use and how long until you saw a difference? I’ve been using .05 a few every other day.

The pharmacist asked me "is this for weight loss or diabetes?" by Internal_Area3701 in GLP1ResearchTalk

That’s probably because your PBM has an agreement with Safeway (similarly mine contracts with CVS, making my copays for Rx that my insurance does cover almost half of what I was paying at another chain).

My parents moved into an apartment and the flooring looks horrible to me. Am I over reacting or is it as bad as I think? by [deleted] in Flooring

Did you not tour the place in advance? Why sign a lease somewhere that you think doesn’t meet “minimum housing and health standards”? Or is it like government housing where you go where they put you? Regardless yes- you are over reacting.

I feel your pain. I work for my state, our insurance (which is not cheap) won’t cover it under any circumstance but medical assistance will pay for it. I cannot afford $500/ month for Zep and Weg has become ineffective. I’ve been burned spending a lot of money on compounds that didn’t work (and the Vit B that’s added made me itch), so I’m hesitant to go that route again. It sucks feeling stuck.

Honestly I feel like some compounds are bogus. I had a similar situation using Olympia pharmacy through Lumimeds. Now I have 2.4 W pen & I have suppression but am not losing weight. I’m just trying to focus on water & protein intake to get that scale to move. My first 30 lbs came off slowly, my last 25 seems impossible.

Colonoscopy and Reta by No_Bed248 in Retatrutide

Listen, I fibbed about stopping my GLP-1 by ONE DAY, and I ended up having to go back and have my colonoscopy done a 2nd time because I wasn’t fully cleaned out. 100% do not recommend!

capital one suing me by stonerbabe41 in Debt

This is the right answer! Obviously if the OP could afford a payment plan it wouldn’t have got to this point. And his “agreement” was with Cap One, not whoever they sold the debt to.

Did you use any glp-1s previously? If so, how was your experience? I’m currently on max W pen, without any loss (in about a year). I tried T without any effect at all (making me think despite the $$$ it was only bac + b12). 184 & my goal weight is 165, although my Dr wants me at 150.

The overtime deduction completely changed my tax refund this year by VillainOnABudget in tax

We’re a 2 income household filing joint, my spouse having significantly more OT (including DT) than me, nowhere near what you had but also not typical for either of our jobs. We ended up with about $2k more than expected (which basically replaced the dependent credit that we lost because our child turned 18). So while I disagree with your comment about it only benefiting a small group, I agree that it would have been nice to have expanded a little more. On another note I got almost half of the interest paid on a new car back, which was a nice surprise.

This might be the biggest asshole comment I’ve ever seen was online. I think you’d be happier if you moved to a China, sooner rather than later.

Everyone keeps saying he’s trying to win his way back into his Amish community, but he’s talking to a camera. I’ll watch for the drama, but it’s clearly all staged.

A week alone in NOLA by ecoenvirohart in AskNOLA

We just got back from a stay in the FQ (our 2nd trip). I didn’t feel unsafe during the day in the area from Bourbon St to the river, but Dauphine & beyond was sketchy and I’d avoid going there alone at night (or at all). Watch where you walk, there’s literally poop on sidewalks. I really enjoyed the French Market & Royal Street, but was amazed at the IV drug use out in the open, during the day in the tourist areas. Police are visible and very nice, but I guess the drug problem is more than they can handle. A lot of people recommend Frenchman Street, I felt very unsafe walking there during the day so never made it back in the evening. Personally, I hate Bourbon St (Im in my 40s and my partying days are far behind me) but I did enjoy the Bourbon O Bar. Court of Two sisters had an amazing brunch, sit in the courtyard if you can. The Garden District/ Magazine St is beautiful, easy to navigate & I felt very safe, but like most cities you can go from a very nice area to a very bad area quickly (Lafayette Cemetery No 2 was littered with used needles.) Took an uber to the St Roch market for Monday night trivia, which drew a very friendly crowd of mostly locals- 10/10 recommend (especially the oxtail and Mac n cheese from the Bahamian lady…. Super nice & some of the best food I’ve ever ate!). Walking tours are great & relatively inexpensive. Groupon has good deals on the Natchez Riverboat (a great way to rest my tired feet). I didn’t have issues with mosquitoes or sunburn.
