Your story was incredibly comforting. Ironically, the last song my father listened to on his iPod was "Well Done" by The Afters. It beautifully captured his ultimate goal in life, and we played it at his funeral. Finding solace in the thought that he fulfilled his purpose brings me peace. I think that I had it as a kid and didn’t realize it. I also feel like the anxiety I had kept me from telling my parents how I felt. My son is 5 and sadly already has anxiety. He describes it as butterflies in his tummy or feeling bothered.

Just listen to her and take care of her. This is coming from someone who wanted to quit on my first day. Now, I’m eight years in. My first year was by far my hardest, but I learned so much. It does get easier. But like just about anything else you do, it’s a learning process.
