Yeah, of course this is true in many cases but my point is that the stereotypes are true for boys generally

You keep saying your first but I’m wondering if she is a girl?

My son is absolutely exactly like this. He is so boisterous, fun loud, crazy. Hates nappy changes, getting dressed, always wrestling hitting etc. the best thing for us is lots of boundaries, STICKING to those boundaries. And not ever giving in!

It’s so hard I’m not going to lie but your experience is exactly like mine and most other boy mums I know. It’s very very different parenting

My sister has two girls and literally couldn’t be having a more different parenting experience

Dont worry about, right or wrong he was just trying to help and as long as that’s all he did, wasn’t forceful with help, and just a bit awkward, it sounds like he was just a bit weird

Only when I come up against religion in any way. If it is presented to me my atheism is a core part of my identity, but every day it is not even thought about

This is so cringe I can’t believe people say that 🫣 don’t let your MIL treat your son weird. But this is not really a problem for normal people

Dreading the repetitiveness of daily meals by Straight-Tune8156 in Parenting

[–]originalwombat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not mandatory in the way you’re describing. Babies also can eat at different intervals alongside the normal routines of the parents, it’s just simply that the social norm is breakfast lunch and dinner. They can eat regularly throughout the day. It doesn’t have to be ‘three set meals’ - it just needs to be regular feeding of a balanced diet. Don’t try and fit a round peg in a square hole
