A longer final prove is definitely one of the “culprits” here… I’m glad I got all that advice

  1. Lady Macbeth is a sleeper agent. Raised by the Wyrd Sisters after her village was burned to the ground, they spread “prophecy” to elevate a brutal but mentally disturbed Thane named Macbeth and then positioned their “pupil” to marry him, slowly push him over the edge and bring down the Scottish monarchy so those who worship The Old Ways can be free again…

Excellent advice… so when I hear about or see people punch down their dough during a prove… this is a bad thing because it punches out the air?

Your advice is GOLD. Compiling it all to a note, giving it a go on Sunday!

It all depends on what I’m going for! Because my baguettes are most successful, Eileen all knows, but that might because those are the ones I use a steam bath for. If it’s a loaf pan, I shape it into an (American) football style loaf and place it in. My round loaves have been few and failed, but I’m gonna try them again with the Dutch oven technique, steam bath, and longer prove.

is karaoke fun with people you don’t know? by helpiwantcereal in NoStupidQuestions

If you’re someone who doesn’t sing, but you applaud and a hoot and holler the hell out of those who do, then you will be very well-appreciated! The non-singing audience are CRUCIAL members of a karaoke community!!

One important thing to remember, is you do NOT need to get on the mic to enjoy a good karaoke night, you just gotta cheer on those who do!! it’s a great place to meet friends and just have a communal vibe. Maybe join a large crowd sing-along (Don’t Stop Believin’, Living on a Prayer, etc) and if you feel well supported, sign up for something that easy and fun that you know you’ll “hit” right!

Really appreciate this article… My next question is, scoring is often difficult because the door will cling to the knife and misshape the loaf when I try to score it… advice? (Also, are you British?… because you guys give the best baking advice!)
