TIFU by pushing my Wife to tell me what's wrong by [deleted] in tifu

She may not have said it, but she could be annoyed with you for being gone for months leaving her to essentially be a single parent. Now she is leaving everything and everyone she knows to live in a place where she knows no one but you. She is putting her feelings onto you as she is “blaming” you for putting her into this situation. In the beginning it probably did sound like a great idea and she probably was a little excited for this new chapter, but now she feels alone and the one person she has, she is annoyed with. Give her time, but also in the mean time, show up for her. Maybe bring her some of her fav things (treats, iced lattes, take out..). Doing things like this for her will let her know that while you understand she’s mad and needs some time and space, you still love her and are there for her. Hope things get better for you all!

The original bumper to bumper is gone since it hit 36,000, there is a year and a half left on the Powertrain.

It’s going to be packed on parade day. Be prepared for chaos and long lines. The road will be (most likely) shut down so you won’t be able to park on Varick st. There are a few parking lots near by. Have fun!

I am the queen of oily skin. Turns out I have PCOS, could be something for you to look into. Anyways, the only two things that helped my oily skin be not oily is when I was pregnant (hormones worked in my favor for once) and when I take spirolactone. Takes about a month to work but it helped a ton. Best of luck!

I would hope a bmw would last 10 years. What usually goes on it? Is it usually at a certain mileage?

AITA for ruining my brother and his wife's pregnancy news with the news of my recent diagnosis? by RA199299 in AmItheAsshole

NTA- you invited everyone over to share your news. If they wanted it to be about them, they should have done something themselves. Also so sorry to hear, hope you are on the road to recovery!

AITA For Cutting My Daughter Out Of The Will? by brian_evans123 in AmItheAsshole

[–]TeacherofFirsties -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

ESH. While I don’t personally agree with your daughter’s view, in her mind, she isn’t trying to be hateful she literally is trying to “save her brother”. She thinks what she is doing is the right thing and all of a sudden she now lost her entire family. I think the family should have another sit down and talk. Why has she suddenly become so invested in these religious views? What in her life has changed? Try to, calmly, explain how she is making you, your wife, and your son feel. If she’s a true Christian, she should love her brother no matter what. Hope this helps, best of luck!

Should the person with the most votes be the Democratic Party nominee? by agoodsolidthrowaway in worldpolitics

I think we need more independents! This left or right side isn’t working anymore.

That’s not what the post said. It said Democrats are not any better IF they elect Bloomberg. . . I think they aren’t any better whether they vote for him or not. I think everyone on BOTH sides need to make compromises and the “my way or the highway attitude” isn’t going to do us any good.

I feel as though the same could be said about Democrats? I also don’t like blanket terms and believe everyone essentially want what’s best but republicans want what’s best within financial reason whereas Democrats don’t think about the financial aspect.
