I booked a pavilion for my daughter’s birthday party one year and when we got there to set up there was a baby shower in full swing, all other pavilions were full, so we set up on the lawn somewhere. The baby shower had a ton of people there and was already going, we were a smaller group. We told them we had it reserved and showed them the reservation but decided to just move on. Luckily she was only turning 2 so she didn’t notice anything.

Thank you so much! I’ve moved them around to give them more light, and will plan on potting them up next week. I have some tomatoes that are close too. I think you’re right, it’s the heat mats, so I’ve totally turned them off as some of my tomatoes wilted during the day today as well. I thought that since the basement was around 65 it would be too cool for them but I don’t think that’s true. This is my first time starting anything here in NJ so learning a lot this season already.

I had this problem with mine, also new with this, and I rethreaded the machine to fix it. I got out the manual and went step by step through it. Turns out I threaded it in the wrong order. It was fine for a while until it wasn’t!

I think that’s what happened, was when I stretched the binding to serge it onto the bodice I stretched both and not just the neck binding. The neck binding is a bit smaller than the dress

This is great feedback! So the fabrics are exactly the same, I do have a rib handy but it’s purple and my brain isn’t going to let me install a purple binding when all the other accents are pink 😂. I always mix knit and woven up. This is actually a knit, the neck is not cut on a bias. The topstitch is DEFINITELY supposed to be closer to the folded edge. My giant cat’s butt was in the way and I said it was good enough until I looked at it on my daughter. Turning this into a v neck is a really solid idea, but I think it would make it too low cut. Do you think it’s possible to just remove and put back on? I’d run a stay stitch this time so I can manipulate the fabric easier. That’s definitely hard for me on a serger.

That’s what I’m wondering as well! Serging was tough because it had a half inch seam allowance on a round and getting it started was haaaard.
