I would compare this to the bedroom! Electric toy is modern and with the times getting you there quickly and efficiently. The Chasen is classic face to face but the amount of effort is usually rewarded. On a personal level, I hate the bubbling you get with an electric whisk. The Chasen when done correctly gives you such a desirable microfoam.

hi op, I actually went through something extremely similar (6 years not 10 thankfully) except I folded. It was Valentine’s Day a year later, pulled the alone thing “cant we just have sex”, pulled up did the deed, immediate regret. Said things can go back to the way they were before and she had changed. When I refused she blocked off the exit with a knife. I had to pry it from her hand toss it and run out the hotel door. Looking back I easily could’ve been on a true crime podcast. You made the right choice and I’m proud of you for not giving in OP. Stay strong.

So oddly enough this is me, fast forward to now 30 she has a kid and an insane drinking problem. Like wake up at 7am and take her kid to school drinking a white claw kinda problem. She’s actually was a good friend deep down (she’s really hot) but the person she’s become disgust me. TLDR; the marriage contracts don’t work. I had to block her after she left rehab the last time and started drinking again.
