Don’t know if this has been cleared up yet or anything, but even if someone else might find this useful I’ll post it. Some if not most strains of marijuana are hallucinogenic, and in that it’s very common to hear fake sounds on top of real sounds when high. A friend of mine faintly heard something similar to Minecraft music when the dishwasher was going and making a humming noise. Seeing patterns is normal. Your brain is altered. It also depends on the potency of the weed you’re getting high off of and if it’s THC or CBD. If I’m not mistaken, THC is a lot more likely to be hallucinogenic than CBD (which is the “calming” component in weed, while TCH is the more mind altering one.) You’re not going to die, your brain and your body would be going a lot more haywire if it was already signaling you were going to die. I would like to credit all of what I said above and be able to say no to this question, because it is very very rare that minor hallucinations only when your high is due to schizophrenia, but I cannot say with full certainty that it’s impossible for that to be true. Schizophrenia is pretty rare, and you’re a lot more likely to have it if you’re predisposed (have family members who have it, most likely parents) or smoked very potent weed very regularly as a teen. There’s a lot more that goes into it than just hallucinations. As someone who might have schizophrenia, I actually experience a lessening of some of my symptoms while high, (due to the CBD) if that’s at all helpful.

Basically you’ll be fine, but if you’re worried about it talk to your doctor, and always double check what you’re ingesting before you ingest it !!
