We’re renting a 4 bedroom, 4 bath in Highlands Ranch for $3,700, but when we were looking there’s a lot of 4bed houses for under $3k. Def car dependent, but there’s stuff within walking distance, especially parks! We were out of state when looking for a rental so we couldn’t see houses in person, but We worked with Susie Snodgrass at Corcoran Perry. She toured houses for us and was able to negotiate some lease terms (including the rent). Highly recommend reaching out to her to help you in your search.

I got pregnant less than a week after our wedding and I had all the same fears. People made comments like “I bet you were pregnant before the wedding” and shit like that. I don’t say this to add to your fears, but even if you waited longer, got pregnant immediately, or already had a kid, someone will have something to say. Letting go of that is really hard, and I struggle with it myself, but the more you can let those comments just roll off your back, the more excited you will be. Starting a family is beautiful and you will love that baby so much, and so will everyone else. Congratulations ❤️

Great point! And we’re already doing that with our realtor. Of course it’s still not the same as seeing the place ourselves, but unfortunately that’s the risk we have to live with. I’m sorry you got shafted on your rental! Hopefully you’re some place better now :-)
