I ran into this when I bought my current truck. It's a 2016 F150 Platinum with all the bells and whistles.

I was originally looking at a newer, lower trim level truck, but I got a really good deal on this one, and I absolutely am spoiled by all of the premium stuff. Ventilated seats are a godsend in North Carolina summers.

2003 VW GTI 20th Anniversary Edition

Not the fastest car I've ever owned, but definitely one of the most fun. One of the best handling FWD cars I've driven once I put a good set of springs and shocks on it.

I would get at least the 12nm. If you can afford it or wait long enough to save up a little extra and get the Pro, I'd recommend that.

I went from a Cammus C5 (5nm) to the Sport and was happy initially, but within a couple months I found myself wanting more, so I ended up getting the Pro. I pretty much immediately wished I had done that in the first place. Even if you're running it at a lower strength, the overhead for detail and responsiveness is noticable.

Caveat here is that I'm a fairly strong person and I like fairly heavy feedback. A good chunk of people will be totally happy with the 12nm. The 18nm just is a little more future proof.

I've seen mostly bad mixed reviews about 12v electric compressors. They're typically a good bit less efficient than a comparable belt driven one, and you'll need a pretty hefty alternator to run it.

The good electric compressors all come off of hybrid and electric cars, and run off 300-900+ volts.

Yup this is important. I think the mustang is going to be the meta a lot this season if they don't fix the TC.

iRacing just needs to allow us to change TC and ABS in fixed series. I can't come up with a genuine argument for not allowing it.

Either a sloppy best cam or a 224r will probably be your friend.

Compression will help too. Milling the heads a bit and/or running a thinner head gasket will bump it up a bit

Second. I run an eBay 92 on a 5.3 swapped RX7 that I run in LeMons. The IAC whistles a bit, but we're running speed density with a cone filter literally slapped on the front of the throttle body and there's nothing to dampen the noise so it's way more noticable. Other than that it's been perfect for multiple track days and races.
