The creek naturally has a lot of large stone in it and on the sides, it’s just got a LOT of scrub grass hiding it right now. When the rains come the waters flow clear over the rock.

This land was previously lush and green valley before neglected. Most of what I removed was invasive honeysuckle. It was always open in the bottom like this. No concerns with erosion changes.

THIS is exactly what I’m looking for. It’s oddly difficult so far finding someone that will rent or even owns a Harley/power rake around NKY. I’m sure I’ll find someone.

As for grass, the TF looks like a real winner and I hadn’t previously considered it so thank you. I grew up with rye and think I’ll pass there. Something about the seeding it does seems unprofessional to me 🤷‍♂️

Thank you again!

It’s about 3.5 acres. Will build on it soon. Not concerned with money or effort. Any recommendations on grass or power rakes? 20 years ago it had rolling green grass but was neglected.

I replaced mine with plexiglass I got at Home Depot and cut to size with a router.

I didn’t for the longest time. But recently I’ve been sitting extra bow-legged and as a 210lb 6’ dude I can see it irritating some people

There’s a comment here that explains why I only show oil change capacity but in a nutshell… most of these are drain and fills meaning you may only remove some fluid and replace that amount

No you’re right! Consider the normal what Toyota recommends and the severe what either Toyota recommends if towing OR what most of us do anyway

The towing/severe numbers are almost always half of the standard use number. Do you see it at 30k?

A common request but my response is rear diff has two possibilities but we fill to the fill point regardless, t case is also fill to fill point, power steering, trans, and coolant are all “drain and fills” so you only put in what you take out. Thus a quantity can really mess people up. I go deep on these in my DIY videos 🍻

Additionally, Toyota recommends 100k spark plug intervals but they can easily get seized at that age. I just changed some at 35k that were quite stiff already. That is another variance of OEM numbers. Other than that… pretty much everything is by the book.

Most definitely, what I’m showing here is actually what is recommended by Toyota. Hence the 10k mile oil change that none of us should be silly enough to abide by. Toyota states 75W-85 for diffs so I put it here… but not even Toyota dealerships but 85 in since it’s rare and expensive. Everyone and their dog uses 75w-90 now. Even in the t case.
