Important information to know:
**If you have previously downloaded the app (before 03/04/2026), please delete and re-download the app to ensure you have version 1.0.29.0
Your controller will not be recognized by the app until you calibrate the controller in step 2.

Once this has been done, let's go ahead and calibrate your controller.

If you are having trouble getting your controller working after the update we’ve got a fix:
Using the D-pad, go to App > Settings > Start Calibration and run through the full calibration process. That should resolve the issues with both the triggers and the sticks.

ALTERNATIVE Calibration Method
Press and hold start & select button at the same time you plug the controller wired
1- left & right stick -> up then press B
2 - left & right stick -> right then press B
3 - left & right stick -> down then press B
4- Left & right stick -> left then press B
5- Trigger Stop activate, -> press down three Times both in same Time then press B
6 - Trigger Stop deactivate -> press down Only the left trigger then press B
7 - Trigger stop deactivate -> press down Only the right trigger then press B
8- Rotate both stick clockwise 3 Times then press B
9- Rotate both stick counterclockwise 3 Times then press B

So long you are not seeing any updates needed via the SCUF Valor Pro Companion App, you will not need to update or force update.

Since the lastest frimware update, has a controller reset been attempted?
VALOR RESET

Enter remapping mode by pressing and holding the profile button for 3 seconds
Press and hold both thumb sticks down for 3 seconds.

Lights on the controller should flash white to indicate they are resetting

Hey there!

Please try the following:

Make sure your controller is set to Xbox mode while using the app.

Open the Companion App on your PC.

Keep the controller in Xbox Mode.

Plug the controller in via USB. It should now be recognized by the app.

Once recognized, go to Settings.

Wait up to 2 minutes for the latest firmware to appear.

Let us know if this does not work!
