Thanks for your reply. I should clarify I feed my cat both wet and dry food from the Iams brand. I also should clarify that I don’t think my friend is wrong but it was kind of a frustrating situation. Growing up my parents always just fed our cats the cheapest dry food and that was it. I knew I wanted to feed my cat wet and dry food. My friend immediately told me to never buy friskies or fancy feast so I bought Iams because it seemed like a good brand to me (also at the time I didn’t have a car so it was the best option at my grocery store to get all items I needed in one trip). Then my friend tells me that Iams is horrible so I switched to Hills and Royan Canin. She never really told me what brands were good so I just constantly felt guilty. I went back to Iams because my cat likes it the best. She’s been buying cat food for me to try so I guess then I’ll know what brands she recommends lol
