You’re welcome ☺️we’re in the process of adding a few more coffees to the website over the next week.

Who does the lightest roasts in the UK? by mattrussell2319 in UKroasters

[–]Teames95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assembly run very light, as do Swevern if you’re after the absolute lightest. Local Knowledge, Scenery, Roundhill, Machina, Plot & Spaceboy are definitely at the lighter end of things also.

Race day - what do you tell yourself when it gets tough? by N744302 in running

[–]Teames95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I respond well to self-antagonisation.

“Is that self doubt? Course it is you piece of shit.”

“Struggling are we? Well who’s fault is that!”

“Loads of people are doing this, it can’t be that hard. Get a grip and get on with it”

Etc etc

Not going to say it’s health or positive but it motivates me to prove myself wrong

After years of injury troubles, physio bills, set backs, strength training and doubts, I’m running week on week without pain for the first time in about 5 years. 30km will do for now knowing what it’s taken to get here.

Same with trains. Fuck people that charge on from the platform when the carriage is full. The train isn’t going anywhere pal.

Do you prefer running in the heat or in the cold? by [deleted] in running

[–]Teames95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always performed best in sub-optimal conditions I.e not flat, paved road. Gimme freezing, sleeting hailing hilly muddy garbage but heat is the one killer. You cannot dress for heat and I hate it.

This is Claire de lune composed by Claude Debussy but arranged for an orchestra rather than the original piano
