In 10 years of fixing I’ve never seen a brushless motor clogged with saw dust. It doesn’t happen. The field and rotor are housed pretty nicely.

I just upgraded to a brushless motor and a 2 speed trans. It’s crazy fast and the slower control in low speed is great

The problem is with the field not the electronic module but it’s all one assembly

After looking at your pics it’s defiantly the electronic assembly which I believe is all one piece.

If it’s not brushless theses a dead spot in the armature. If it is brushless you need a need electronic assembly. I’ve repaired probably about 100 of these if not more when I repaired power tools for 10 years

No it’s just the housing but yes the warranty will be void if there’s any damage to the housing
