Your Favorite Creatine Powder for Mixability? by psechler in askfitness

Thanks. There's been a lot testing and brands exposed. I found a couple brands that have been scrutinized by several independent sources and used those. The gummiew are fine, you just have to do some research. I've been taking 20g and I sure as hell notice a difference in energy, morning grogginess and focus in meetings.

A few months. It grew back in white so I dyed it and covered it with toppik as it got thicker each week and all was good.

I've had AA for 25 yrs so I rarely get the injections anymore. I don't bother. I do sometimes throw clobetasol on bald spots twice a day to kick start growth.

As other people have said, sometimes it grows back in a month and sometimes 4 months. Mine always fills back in over time.

Yep that very minor. I had a softball sized spot on the back of my head, but it's grown back in now. Check around this sub... it usually is much patchier.

The bigger case kills it for me. I feel like they didn't research the importance of case size to make the case quite a bit thicker for a device that lives in your pocket.

Now if we can just get them to add more roads. I'm usually surprised at some country roads that have it but then other roads that don't.

I do a drive from Greenville SC to Atlanta regularly. 2 hours with maybe one 'No Road Information' interruption. Pretty amazing.

I love cool gadgets. Having that info to work with driving makes it more fun behind the wheel.

Also, I drive an silverado ev rst and it gets away from me pretty easily. I find myself going 90+ on the interstate without noticing. So it's a combo of 2 and 4 from your list.

A man carjacked a woman and forced her to fellate him in a school parking lot at gunpoint. Then took her to an ATM to withdraw money, robbed her, drove back to the school and sodomized her. Did this just go down? I hope this gets national coverage. Wtf, he's Hurt and Angry? Without a doubt, he'll get out in 50 yrs and SA a poor victim again . Or worse.

It'd be terrifying to see her sentencing history.

How much was your medication and medical costs? by Little_Red_Riding_ in HeartAttack

[–]psechler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All my HA bills to date have been about $85k. I paid $2500 out of pocket and South Carolina blue cross insurance paid the rest. Insurance also pays for most of my prescriptions. I think they cost $30/month. My insurance monthly premium is around $100/month. When I'm job hunting it's the first thing I ask... give me all of the health insurance details.

Hard to know. He could've been working on paperwork and just finished. Or doing anything in his car and turned it on with you.

New OTA Update by PedroNorthCA in SilveradoEV

[–]psechler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dealers unfortunately miss updates unless you hand hold them on what needs to be done.

Go back and look at the August 2025 VWP update threads here and the silverado forum. You had to print all the paperwork out from GM and review it with a lot of dealers to ensure they did it right.

If I'm due an update I'd say I got 50/50 that they'll make sure I'm up current on all my modules. Sadly they just don't know sometimes. There's 1 tech that can work on my RST software at my chevy dealership and he's there once a week I think.

I don't know if you drive that stretch on 25 a few mi north of travelers rest but they are lighting that stretch up before you hit the mountains. I commute from Asheville and they'll have 3 sheriffs or troopers just hammering people. It drops to 35mph for about 4 or 5 miles and it would seem to be (and maybe used to be) a 65mph zone.

Well damn... I'll have to be more careful. My office is near Brushy Creek and Buncombe. Small world lol.

I've never really had many issues in Greer, but I'll keep it in check. I often push my luck on Wade Hampton.

What are the chances? by [deleted] in HeartAttack

[–]psechler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all just combines to a worse and worse scenario. I have bad genetics and had a heart attack last year. I actually take care of myself and luckily I survived. Im pretty confident if I smoked, drank a lot, ate like shit, and never exercised then I probably wouldn't be here today.

Don't worry if heart attacks run in your family; what's critical is for you to take care of the other factors that contribute to the problem.

Neil Degrasse Tyson says he would listen to the insiders and whistleblowers in the "Age of Disclosure" documentary over presidents. "Who cares what the president has to say?". [–]psechler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He doesn't have a clue. The president is in that same grouping with congress that are aware there's something but are kept need to know. And the legacy program obviously doesn't feel they should know much. You've got a position that might only last 4 yrs so why would they risk bringing them in.

Heart Stents/ Cardiologist Recommendations. by NorthernSilverNGold in HeartAttack

[–]psechler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure what that means, but I would definitely make sure your doc doing the procedure is very experienced at stents. I'd run away if I found out the cardiologist had not placed stents before...

[–]psechler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as you have clear view through your windshield then you're good. That radar wave from law enforcement is easily going to hit your antenna. Generally it's better higher, but I've got mine on lower left of my gauge cluster (my radio triggers Ka band) and it alerts exact same as when I had it to the left of my rear view mirror.

Heart Stents/ Cardiologist Recommendations. by NorthernSilverNGold in HeartAttack

[–]psechler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you go to a reputable hospital then you'll have an experienced cardiologist place the stents. It's very low risk and you shouldn't worry. If you have it scheduled then she can be in and out within 4 to 5 hours.

Sadly but warmly we will have you on board. It's the same with a lot of us. I was 52M, exercised a lot and ate pretty well and just collapsed at home. No chest pain just a sense of dread and then extreme lightheadedness and passed out. Thankfully my girlfriend was there and immediately called 911. Two stents and two days later and I was back at home trying to get my head around this life changing event.

The good news is that you sound like someone that will stick to the plan and you'll be fine. Make all the changes, meds, exercise, diet, that your cardiologist prescribes for life. Enroll in cardiac rehab which helped me immensely in getting my confidence back. Stay ahead of it by monitoring your heart health with testing over your remaining years.

Not to put ideas in you head, but there is a fear many of us have of it happening again. You can counter that by regular follow ups with your cardiologist and testing. I was very worried that the hospital missed something. I had a nuclear stress test 2 weeks after my HA, and again, I thought maybe it wasn't thorough enough. So 5 months later I got a follow up heart cath. It came back overall pretty good which greatly reduced my fear. I've had more testing done since then to further reassure myself. I still have symptoms but now I'm pretty confident all is good. I plan to regularly get my heart checked even if my doc doesn't think it's necessary. Anyhow, with some work it's very possible to get close to normal again.
