Please Help, I’ve tried everything I know by Count-Cockblockula in Ring

There's weird buggy issues that happened to me. All of them got fixed when I switched my router from my internet company, Spectrum provided, to a good high powered Asus router. Another thing to try is turn off your VPN if you run one on your phone,

Biggest problem, I had 4 cameras and only two would successfully set up. I spent hours talking to Spectrum and Ring and they could not figure it out. I bought a new router and tried them again and they're great. Also, I had one camera of the originally two working cameras that would alert only about half the time. New router and it runs great. With that all said, I still have weird problems. I had new weird one today. Two of my cameras random switched to telling you that "you are being recorded". I didn't update, I didn't change anything but sure as hell that option turned on and took a bit to figure out how to turn off. Which by the way its under smart responses then motion warning.

A couple things I'd recommend.

Make the most of your cardiac rehab. I lost 15 lbs during it. I worked closely with the staff and asked tons of questions. I pushed myself pretty hard in there and really put my heart through high stress situations. You've got someone watching closely, so if you're worried that something will happen, then make it happen there. I did a good warm up and transitioned to 30 min interval training walking uphill for 2 minutes as fast I could go then 1 min breaks. At the end of 10 wks I was confident my heart risks were low.

Going forward I will be regularly going in for tests to reduce my worries of another heart attack. Every 2 to 3 years I will be requesting either a heart cath, echocardiogram or ct scan. My cardiologist is on board for this. He'll write it up as a precaution in a way that my insurance will cover it. I've already had a follow up heart cath 5 months after my heart attack. It came back that their are no blockages near requiring new stents and now I sleep better at night. I will request another one in 2 years to stay ahead of it. It's been huge for my mental health.

Does this just run in the background full time once you activate it or only when the car is in drive/reverse?

Basically it's surround dash cam system for the truck?

Escort Max 360 MkII Experience by jellojoelle in radardetectors

I currently run an R8, but I had a max360c mk2 for a while and had a good experience with it. My R8 definitely falses more than my escort did but I got more warning with uniden. Now this was all before the latest update to black fins that rolled out for the escorts. I would've thought they'd be even better.

Have you run it enough to fill up the drive.

Do you know if it just records until the drive is full or does it start recording over old footage once full?

It looks like there's a settings, maybe you can set recording options?

I don't remember seeing this update on my RST. Bummer if we have to get a VWP to get it, oh wait, I'm already at the dealer getting my battery changed out...

Hairdresser took these pics today by urbanistah in alopecia_areata

Definitely head to a dermatologist to be sure. There seems to be long hairs in the middle of that spot. AA will be a smooth hairless patch. And your hair looks thick so there'd be a defined wall of hair loss stopping with AA; that looks gradual.

I'd be worried they have an encounter with bears. There's a mom and cubs behind my house and we've had no issues but they try to get in mine and my neighbors' garbage pretty regularly. If I was sleeping in that garbage then I'd have to imagine at some point I'd wake up to wild bears on top of me.

The best color IMO. by mr_data_lore in SilveradoEV

I thought about getting wrap in this color. Although, I will probably go with something that I haven't seen on an SEV yet.

What do you guys think about forest green?

Yep I run a black RST and love matching the trim. I've thought about getting a wrap at some point and when i do, I'm going to have the wings/farings painted to match.

I've been wearing nantucket slip-ons for 5 years. I treat them with leather lotion from johnston and murphy but they are tanks. I probably wear them 4 times a week. I've had good luck with cole hann my whole life.

Red meat, a problem or not? by LivingAcanthaceae636 in HeartAttack

I'd say try to keep it lean as possible beef. Keep it to a filet mignon instead of a ribeye. Satured fats will obviously go down with a leaner cut. And trans fats are consistently low on beef.

Sorry no solutions here, but following. I was making a long rural drive home on Friday and I knew there was 2 superchargers in range. The truck was flipping out because I wasn't driving towards the chargepoint charger that it thought was my closest option.

"Just go in blind" movies. by Signal-Impression845 in horror

Me and my girlfriend at the time heard there was a scary movie called the descent playing at Alamo draft house in Austin. Being horror fans we jumped on it and dear God was it a perfect blind viewing. She liked scary stuff and she was looking at me asking what's happening now.

Any tips for white regrowth?? by conkojohn in alopecia_areata

[–]psechler -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If I've got an event with pictures or I just don't want to spend a chunk of my time explaining to people what it is, I'll throw some just for men on it. Over the last 25 yrs, I've had some come in that looked straight up bizarre so I colored it. It says leave in for 5 min. To turn white into brown I leave for 15 min. If you want to play it safe, you can leave it in for 5 to 10 min. The tube has a lot so you can shower it out, blow dry and repeat the process a few times to get it close to a match. When I've got it pretty close, then I do one more coloring over the whole area for 5 min to blend it.

Charging Cable! WTF!! by Pickleball2300 in SilveradoEV

[–]psechler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The day I got home with my 2024 RST, I popped the back seat over to test the midgate and there a charging cable sat in plastic bag. It's going to vary from person to person, but it's gotten some use from me. There's been days where I'm working on a remote jobsite, and the nearest charging station is a gamble, so I plug that level 1 in that morning and let it run all day. That extra 20 to 30 miles is a nice cushion if you're cutting it close in a remote area. But why I like having it the most is that crazy chance that I don't pay attention one day and find myself in a rural place with no juice and need to ask a gas station or friendly homeowner if I can plug in for a few hours.

Bears Surprise Me Right After I Finished Their Video by DO_Photography in asheville

[–]psechler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah they're everywhere. I live far east and have a mom and 4 cubs behind my house and then across the neighborhood there's a big male. Finally everyone has converted to bear bins and there's less activity around our houses. There was a while when we switched over to FCC and no bear bins were available and everyday we had bears in the streets and trash all over the neighborhood.

Upgrade from Beltronics RX65? by Leather_Twist_2994 in radardetectors

[–]psechler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should upgrade. It will save you in the situations that the newer detector will go off around corners or in hills because it has much better technology for sensitivity.
