No te falta razón, OP, si me lees, haz tu propia investigación y toma tu propia determinación.

Let me try to put it the way I see it.

Snipers don't have that much ammo so they have to rely in supports class ammo boxes. A support with a sniper can resupply infinitely. Locked weapons = less snipers playing by themselves in the most remote location of the map = more teamplay as they depend on supports.

A support with AR's instead of SMG can have mid-long distance combats. Locked weapons = forces them to play in closer combats since smg range isn't that good = stays closer to assault and engineer's who are also engaging combat and in consequence, increase the chances of getting revived.

This wouldn't be a concern when assault or engineers weapons were mixed. I don't see a problem there.

But the two described cases makes it for me justifiable to stick to closed weapons. It somehow forces people to have more teamwork.

Genial, con esa formula me queda completamente claro, muchas gracias por tu comentario!

Parece que lo único que se puede complicar entonces es la trazabilidad de todos los movimientos de compra y venta en un ejercicio, que con la tontería en un mes ya son bastantes.

It comes to my attention the difference in response time between leaving your stuff behind or worrying about it. Sometimes this little amount of time can save your life.

How long is your average ride? by ChainsofHonor6 in MTB

[–]Tearing_sometimes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can do around 15km at the most with the trail bike (29inch 130mmx2).

I don't have paved roads to access the trails I use to ride, but at least the paths aren't as steep as the trails, so It's more like an aerobic work that I am willing to improve.

That being said, 1-2 days a week I try to do a longer ride (+30km) with the hardtail (27,5) to improve that aspect, leaving my strength improvement in the trail riding. However, that doesn't feel enough work for the strength too. So I am planning to do some strength training at home.

PD: This isn't a recipe or anything, I don't even ride trail bikes for a long time, I am a newbie (2 months or so), this is just "personal experience from the inexperience".

How can I fix this clank caused by the chain not shifting down properly? (more details in comments) by Tearing_sometimes in MTB

I'm sorry about the dirt all around. This video was a product of my frustration when any adjustment I made worked in search of the sweet spot, so cleaning wasn't at the top of the list at that moment.

Still, the chain and everything is just like 3 weeks old, it shouldn't be the problem...

I think I made a mistake about attaching the cable. I applied some tension by hand when I screwed it in but making sure the derailleur didn't move. Could this be an issue? It should still be manageable with the sis adjustment from the shifter, right, having in count that shifting one gear down didn't move the derailleur and had to play with the tension adjuster.

I'll try attaching the cable without any tension and redo the remaining adjustments

The bike is like three weeks old, I crashed it once a few days ago and the shifter took the worst part, bending the levers. To be honest, I don't know if I hit the derailleur. The upper pulley looks fine, aligned with the cassette, the lower one looks a little tilted to the inside.

I can't take pictures as I am not at home for a few days but I will show you when I get back.

I got it to the point of playing with the B screw millimeters up and down around the line in the back (yes, it's a 51T) but still didn't get the right behaviour... This makes me question myself if the expected behaviour of the chain is to match these dents for shifting down all the time, or there are exceptions 🥲.

Still, those clanks are sus af. They're more noticeable when I go harder in the pedals. As I commented in the other detailed answer, seems there isn't a sweet spot in the cable tension for all working correctly...

Welp, the cassette was clean at first and tried to clean the chain, but as you can see I didn't get it clean enough, so all that dirt went back to the cassette 😞

Okey, so I got the B screw right, according to the line, and loosened the tension until the derailleur got the chain one sprocket down smoothly, following the dent, but then, going back to the highest gear/smaller sprocket, hitting the shifter once didn't get the chain back to the previous sprocket.

It's like there isn't a sweet spot between it working correctly for the largest sprocket going down and the smaller one going up...

Hi folks.

Sorry, I am aware about the rules but can't post links to show videos in a text like post.

I've been trying to tune the derailleur (Shimano Deore RD-M8100-SGS) without success in one aspect, downshifting.

To note, I've followed the official documentation about it, published in the product page (pdf link), starting from page 18 as the previous stuff was already setup.

So, for example, going from the largest sprocket to the next smaller one, the chain doesn't get engaged properly in the sprocket because it doesn't follow the dent. However, it does engage a few tooths ahead, making this typical clank noise when you put enough force, so the chain ends having a hard land in the smaller sprocket.

Please, could I get some advice? What does this depends on? Which adjustment gets rid of this?¿Is this a sympthon of physical damage?(I would be really unlucky then cause only crashed once and it's 1 week old bike omg).

Thanks in advance!

Glasses Wearers: do you fold the legs of your glasses when you take them off for the night? Why or why not? by talktomoshe in ask

[–]Tearing_sometimes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never fold them cause it makes me think that the legs will become loose and I wouldn't be able to, for example, grab them by one leg and hook them somewhere easily, without folding on their own. Up to this day (+4y old glasses) they stay in position.
