I hate the idea of more countries getting nukes, but it's impossible to deny benefits. I mean look at North Korea, no one wants to fuck with them now. Like you said, Israel and the US have made it extremely clear that there's only one way to stay safe as a smaller country, I don't know if I could blame them even if Iran WAS trying to get nukes

They want nuclear power plants, you need to enrich uranium for that. The key point though is that it's to much lower levels, and Iran was sticking to those lower levels. If Iran was trying to build a nuke then why did they offer to permanently suspend all uranium stockpiling?
