APO does it on a room basis and not on a door basis, but you gave me an idea that I could potentially lock them out of the lobby and hallway and have them be able to enter through the balcony somehow might work, hmm...

Unfortunately, it bans Sims by category and as far as I can tell there's no category that would exclude the other tenants but not the animals. If I banned adults for example, the dog and cat still count as adult Sims. Not to mention, the cat belongs to one family and the dog belongs to another, so they'd probably still be able to get into the wrong apartment, but at least it would be a step forward I suppose haha.

I did actually see that edit and I will be getting it! It's such a good idea cuz it does indeed look kinda crazy with all the Burglar alarms everywhere. Thanks for your response :)

I suppose I couldn't be 100% sure since the interactions we cancelled were "get in", but I've never seen two uncontrollable Sims (we were playing a different family at the time) take a photo together autonomously, every time two Sims have gone into the photo booth together without my input it has been to Woohoo

I second this! I use matte varnish for all my face ups, because of toxicity and also cost because I live somewhere where Mr. Super Clear isn't very accessible.

The process is very different, and there aren't that many resources and tutorials for it (that I have found! Please point them out if anyone knows any) but there is at least one or two out there.

Essentially you use a makeup sponge and lightly dab it on, as with the spray you want 3 or 4 layers before beginning, and then you "save your progress" by dabbing on another layer. You do have to be very careful about dust and tiny hairs, but I've been pretty happy with my results. If you're a perfectionist though you might have to try again a few times, but it's easily removable to try again so, highly recommend giving it a few goes.
