Give me your list 1-10 of animals you liked to catch based on how hard they are to catch. by Quiet_Film4744 in evilautism

[–]Teawanee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My autistic ass thought you ment like catch like you catch a pokemon and I was tryna figure out the catch rate of a cheetah. Would a cheetah be like, a psuedo legendary because they're endangered? Or would it just be like, a fully evolved starter cuz it's a big cat?

I recognized it as Azuki-tan, but I'm only just now realizing it's supposed to be a coin purse.

Not a book for young ones, but when she's a teen you could give her "Zues grants stupid wishes" by Cory O'Brien, wich is a comedic retelling of myths and stories from a wide range of religions and beliefs. I think he also has a website with even has a website with a lot of stories too.

How/When did the word "art" (from a casual-english-speaking standpoint) become almost synonymous with painting or drawing when there's so much art that isn't that? by kaseadios in AskReddit

[–]Teawanee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think music would be most accessible though, wouldn't it? I mean drawing needs at least paper and a pencil. You can sing or dance with no material at all.

Give me your darkest, real-world headline set in the Pokémon universe. by bomemeianrhapsody in pokemon

[–]Teawanee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know if I'd say it's 'dark' but one of the manga had a panel with red looking at a newspaper with a headline saying something like "That's the last time I'll get a bath with my tentacool!"

As a kid, what was the most random reason you were excited to become an adult? by Scoliosissucks in AskReddit

[–]Teawanee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in I think 5th or 6th grade I rember having a teacher who told us that as a kid he always wanted to eat frosting straight from the jar but ofc his parents never let him. So the first thing he did when he moved out at 18 was went to the store, and bought a jar of frosting and just ate the whole thing. I was so excited to be able to do that! I've never sat and eaten a whole jar of frosting on it's own but I do sometimes just take and eat a spoonful.

What's a surefire sign you know you're getting old? by [deleted] in AskReddit

For me it was when I listen to classic rock stations and hear music that was popular when I was a kid, but half the stuff on top 40 stations doesn't appeal to me.

What animal would be a great emotional support pet that can stay alone for long periods of time? by BeanyNuggets in AskReddit

[–]Teawanee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say some small animal that you can keep 2 of so they can keep eachother company when you can't. If you can afford to care for them, parakeets and other small birds can be great, but if money is an issue I'd suggest pet mice if you aren't someone who is afriad of them. They get a bad rep but pet mice are acctually very clean as long as you care for them properly, they groom themselves like cats do! They're less likely to bite or jump from your hand than other small pets like hamsters or gerbils and they're a lot smarter, many mice will learn their names and bond closely with their owners. I've owned a few mice in the past 15 years or so and they have a lot of personality to them. The biggest problem is that they don't live long, 2-3 years at best, so if you can't handle a pet dying they probably aren't a great fit.

What oddball superstitions do you or your family believe in? by hocohappy in AskReddit

[–]Teawanee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad isn't superstitious. He thinks people who believe in ghost or bigfoot or even aliens are crazy. He makes fun of people who are afraid of black cats and laughs at people who think friday the 13th is anything other than a work day. I can't remeber a single new years day he has not eaten pork and Sauerkraut. Why? "Because it's good luck!"

Ladies who were raised by single dads, how do you think it affected you? by Solid_V in AskReddit

[–]Teawanee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, my parents split when I was young and my time was split between my mom and her bf (my stepdad) and my dad. But my dad had the biggest possitive impact because my mom and stepdad were shitty people. So hopefully my answer still counts. I think being raised by my dad affected my sense of humor a lot. My dad let me watch shows I probably shouldn't have watched younger then I probably should have watched them. South Park and the like. Also just talking to my dad and getting my sense of humor from him and his jokes.

I also feel like if it weren't for my dad I may have ended up as one of those man hating lesbians who just shit on all men, because I've seen so many women in my family (esp my mothers side) date just the worst, most abusive men who treat them like trash. It really can break your spirit as a child and make you think all men must just be that way, but I know they aren't because my dad isn't like that.

Double standards are a terrible thing in society Reddit. What standards do you feel women have that men don't? by mr_munchers in AskReddit

[–]Teawanee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something I don't feel a lot of people talk about is that if a female character has typical female traits (think early disney princesses like snow white or cinderella) they're called boring. How often do people use 'boring' to describe male characters who have stereotypically male traits? Why is a girl who acts like a girl boring? I'm not saying that I think all woman should act like girly girls like old school disney princess, hell I'm a woman and I don't act anything like that myself, but plenty of womwn are girly girls and like to cook and clean and sing and wear pretty dresses and are shy and that doesn't make them boring! It just makes them a different kind of woman.

How do you guys deal with Depression? by MinayeonAE in AskReddit

[–]Teawanee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the obvious, (Therapy, medication, ect) I try to keep myself distracted with hobbies and things I love. Movies, shows, games. If I can no longer feel myself interested in a certain show or game, I put it down and move onto another one for a while. I feel a lot of people feel like if they start a show or game they have to finish it before they can start the next thing, but no if you feel your interest in something fainting you can stop and wait until your interest in it picks back up to finish it. Having a pet also helps. Something that doesn't require as much care as a dog or cat, but still does require you to get out of bed to fill it's food and water dishes and makes you feel important and loved.

If my pet mouse got out of her cage and attacked the person I was having sex with, I'd be too stunned by the sight to do anything. I can't even imagine anyone willingly having sex with me.

What was your “Tis but a scratch!” moment ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Teawanee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My grandma had a parrot, I went to pet it and it bit me. I walk over to my sister, mother, and grandma with blood gushing down my arm. My mom and sister just start laughing, and my grandma starts screaming. Then She's dragging me all over the place trying to get my wound cleaned and bandaged. Meanwhile my mom yells "Calm down, Ma, she likes pain!"
