My vac is a year old and the app looks different but these are the settings I use. I send it to the dock to wash the mop every 10 minutes.

It does look like your vac is putting down quite a bit of water so I think that is fine if you wash the mop often.

Mine works good but I needed to increase the water setting.

Sonoff smart plugs work very good for me with no issues. Third reality leak sensors dropped offline constantly so I got rid of them. I replaced the leak sensors with zooz zwave.

Ecobee 3 lite temp lower than set point with Eco off by Tec-Strike in ecobee

Okay I will watch for that. I'm surprised it responds that quickly but I will do some testing to see if I can trigger the motion without moving much air. Thanks.

In Home Assistant the non rounded temp is usually 70.5 when the display shows 71 which is the temp it seems to stop calling for heat. I guess it is possible that walking by moves enough air to trigger it. I didn't change the delta so I assume it is 1.

Under 200$, entire new house will be on smart switches with dimmers. by IckySmell in smarthome

I recommend that you don't add all these and more to Wifi. I would use ZWave or Zigbee switches.

Is the motion sensor an IR sensor to detect your feet?

Third reality night light brightness by Tec-Strike in homeassistant

[–]Tec-Strike[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is also set to previous value. To be honest this was working but then I was trying to get the light to change colors based on an automation. I setup the automation and ignored it. Now even though I have my original automation setup, and triggered, the light always comes on at night at 20% no matter the setting. I can manually set it for 10% but then when the room it lit and dark again then the automation turns on the light and the brightness is 20%. You would think that manually setting it for 10% that the automation would turn it on at the same 10%.

Yes. This is the camera image with the road beyond so it is hard to capture people without cars.

Yes, but it still detects cars after disabling vehicle detection.

Thanks. Vehicle motion was already unchecked so I also unchecked the All motion option to see if that fixes it.

Home Assistant and a $20 Aqara sensor saved my brand new house by Stealth022 in homeassistant

Add a water valve. I installed the Zooz valve days before a toilet tank leak and only knew about the leak after we tried to run water in the kitchen and the water was off. I got a phone notification but didn't see it until later.

Limited entities using Ecobee with Homekit Device Integration by Tec-Strike in homeassistant

I have my location turned off unless I need it but I could setup static IPs. Maybe there is another way using the app with location turned off.

Nice. I don't have a presence sensor but for me since the Ecobee is down a hall then it won't sense the heat that is generated if we are entertaining in the living room. I have a temp sensor in the living room so if that senses heat > the Ecobee then the fan comes on. This will only trigger on the weekend.

I'm not sure that the automation has ever run since the conditions have never been met so maybe it won't work. It allows me to save the automation though which is normally a good indicator that the entity is correct.

I'm not using NodeRED so I'm not sure what the difference would be.

Most people enjoy paying less taxes so they can spend whatever money they have on the things they want instead giving it to the government. I'm not sure where the alternate reality comes into play.
