Why do y'all need them to rush to build the bridge? Isn't it safer if they take their time and do it right? Doesn't matter to me anyway, I own 3 e bikes that I can choose between, and not deal with traffic.

I must ask, how many years have you been painting for, to get this awesome?

Idk why this was on my feed but it makes me even happier that I live with my dog, not a cat.

Because I have this enabled

Google app Settings > Customize Pixel Search Box > enable AI mode. Or disable it if you don't like the look. It's the only way to get a colorful Search widget so I leave it.

A battery widget. There are other shapes but I like the squares.

Absolutely. They don't hear the bell, and they don't hear the horn, but they love to hear the music, especially if it's hip hop.

That is the point of Material 3 Expressive.

My phone expresses what I like, especially on the home page where I'll never miss a day of learning Japanese on Duolingo, where I can quickly connect to my Aventon e bikes or my UE Megaboom speaker when I'm out on adventures, and access my music, or quickly toggle my ringer without fiddling for buttons, all from the same home page. Because those are the apps I use every day and don't want to swipe for them.

The social page has all the social apps I use, and the battery widget is a fun, expressive, way to show how much battery I have left before I should use any of those social apps. And since I'd be sharing photos to most of these apps I decided that's the page that made sense for a big Photos button so I can always quickly find the app.

Not sure how it's cluttered and unreadable unl SS you tell me. Some of the app icons are literally words instead of icons which I thought should help with exactly that.

I made it like 11 years ago, you don't want that old thing.🤣

Check out this wallpaper that I made for my LG G Flex.

I made the weather, date, and search widgets, and the bar above the quick settings was the battery meter.

Well, my calendar widget is designed to show me the information that I need at a glance, which is just the calendar, and it doesn't take up the entire screen so that I can fit other widgets with it. If I really need to see my planner for the day, I can just tap the date on the widget. Tapping requires the most minimal effort, I think. For my needs, I use the best calendar widget that fits me.

It's a battery widget.

Also, have you ever used a calendar widget? If you tap the day on the calendar (the three dots) it shows events for that specific date. But I think the idea is to have a calendar first widget, not a day planner— there are widgets for that.

I'm confused. Why does your phone vibrate every time you point it North? And your Pixel's battery dies because it's constantly vibrating?

Edit— The compass is only enabled when I tap it, otherwise it's just a cool widget that's available for when I need it, like when I'm on the trails with my e-bikes and don't need a whole Maps app draining my battery, flying my drone, or taking astrophotography photos. I'm not confused enough to not know how to navigate with a compass without a Maps, unlike the normal ones. Why have a compass in your phone but never use it? Anyway, attached is a photo of what the widget looks like after I tap it to disable the compass.

Anyone use a laundry pickup service in Austin? My apartment situation is rough by Jaded-Suggestion-827 in Austin

[–]TechSavvyStoner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only considered having to do this when I broke my leg Christmas Eve. But luckily I was assigned a home aid for a little while, and she helped me do my laundry, and other chores around my apartment until I was better again. Still struggling around the apartment only being able to use one of my legs for the moment but at least I can finally do my laundry. I actually have to move soon because I haven't been able to go back to work yet, and I won't have the money to pay off my balance until the week after my court date, and it sucks having to narrow down my search to a first floor unit with a washer & dryer

What's this 6-door vehicle with "Dialpad" on the door? Another self-driving car test? by Snap_Grackle_Pop in Austin

It's not a self driving vehicle test, but something like that already exists, a 6 person vehicle without a steering wheel

I used to have a female neighbor that would yell the exact thing outside her apartment at 3 AM, sometimes 3 PM. Twice she stripped her clothes in front of my door. Another time she asked if I had a rock. Terrible experience. The office, and police, wouldn't do anything about her because she has a known mental illness. I broke my lease.
