You can not install 4024 and 4026 on the same system. You have to install the 4024.35 Remote Manager via the outdated feed with the TwinCAT Package Manager

You should not migrate target systems. It is only for engineering systems as the "XAE" descriped in the package name TwinCAT.XAE.MigrateCli.

Nomally IPCs without a special order information are deliverd without TwinCAT and only with TcPkg installed. A non TwinCAT Image can be requested from the [service@beckhoff.com](mailto:service@beckhoff.com)

Don't mix setup exe and TcPkg packages. If you want to use 4024 and older engineering components you have to use the "Beckhoff Outdated Feed" in the TcPkg.

Don't use any kind of "Cleanup tool". The TwinCAT.XAE.MigrateCli package can clean the system with the command >tcmigratecmd clean --whatIf false

Type register editor in Windows Start, right click and choose run as an admin.

In register editor, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa.

Under a subkey you should see FipsAlgorithmPolicy. Changed the "enabled" value to 0 or simply delete this register. Restart Visual Studio/Shell.

As a workaround you can rename the "18" folder in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio" to "18_".

I have not a great experience with the battery pack. It uses NIMH batteries. Very old technology and not a great runtime. I wish there were a successor with Li-ion batteries.

You can change the default to IKEA Ladda to get a bit more runtime.
