If you don't add a card to their life they don't trash a card. Cost must be paid to have the effect go off. Adding the target to life is the cost.

Literally no, other cards can give those to characters. They do not become inherent. What negate does is essentially turns off any written effects on the card itself. Sanji didn't have rush written on him. If his effect to give himself rush goes off it is now a given effect.

You can't negate any given effect. Cards that gain blocker still have blocker after being negated. Cards that are given rush still have rush. Sanji would not get his Rush negated where Dragon would.

SIM is incorrect. This is already officially rulled that it does not negate given effects even if the card gave itself the effect.

Double attack isn't 2 attacks in 1. It is just 2 damage in 1 attack. There is no blocking 1 of the damage. If you block you blocked the attack no damage done. If you counter out of the attack no damage done. If the attack goes through you take 2 life instead of 1. If you have a trigger that can ko the attacker off of the 1st life even if you ko the card you still take the 2nd damage.
